An alumna of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, Kavya said she wanted to pursue Computer Science from IIT-Delhi. “I live in Delhi so I think location-wise IIT-Delhi will be convenient for me, and it is one of the best IITs in the country too. And as far as Computer Science goes, I have been very inclined towards Maths ever since I was a kid. So I want to go in that direction and I felt Computer Science came closest to that,” said Kavya, who lives in Rajouri Garden.

Mridul Agarwal, who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE) Advanced from the IIT Delhi zone, is the all-India topper of the entrance examination this year. JEE Advanced 2021 result has been announced at jeeadv.ac.in. The exam was conducted on October 3.
This is the highest ever scored by a student in the JEE Advanced examination since 2011.

As for Mridul, he developed a penchant for Physics and Chemistry and decided to pursue the subject. Always a meritorious student, Mridul was keen on cracking the IIT-JEE exam and finding a place in IIT Bombay. He scored 98.2% in his Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board Exams.
On his journey to achieve success, Mridul would spend about 12 – 14 hours a day. This included the coaching as well as 6 to 8 hours of self-study. Candidates shall have to report at BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar physically for registration/attendance & fulfillment of other formalities between 08:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. ranks wise on 22-10-2021 for their counselling.
Candidates are advised to bring along their Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority & other relevant Certificates/documents as applicable to be presented at the time of Counselling.
The Board reserves the right to notify any changes as may become necessary in view of any technical difficulty or the reasons beyond its control.
All the candidates who will report for physical counselling at BOPEE offices Jammu/ Srinagar are advised to adhere strictly to the SOP’s / guidelines issued by the Government of J&K from time to time regarding COVID-19.
