40-day long winter camp in Nyoma concludes

Leh, Feb 15: A 40-day long winter camp, which commenced on January 5th, organised by the Village Education Committee (VEC) Nyoma and Lhagsam Trust successfully concluded today at Govt Middle School, Nyoma.

Councillor Nyoma, Ishey Spalzang was present as the chief guest of the concluding ceremony along with the guest of honour Incharge SDM, Dr Changchuk and special guests, including Zonal Education Officer (ZEO), Nyoma; Army Captain Yogander Singh; Chairman, Block Education Committee, Tashi Gyaltson

Village Education Committee members, Sarpanch, Panch, Goba and villagers were also present on the occasion.

The day-long program consisted of many colourful cultural programmes and speeches by various stakeholders.

The winter camp benefitted 51 students from Nyoma village and five teachers were part of the camp.
