- Ladakh: New Police Station Inaugurated in Khaltse
Khaltse, Ladakh – The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) of Ladakh, Satish Khandare, inaugurated the newly constructed Police Station in the region. The event was attended by several senior police officials including Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Leh, P.D Nitya, AIG (Personnel), Stanzin Nurboo, and others from the police department.
Accompanied by the SSP Leh and other senior officers of the district police, ADGP Ladakh emphasized that the new police station will provide all basic services to the people of the sham region. He also assured to fulfill the demands of the public and to provide better citizen-centric policing in Ladakh.
During the ceremony, SSP Leh, P.D Nitya, Councilor Khaltse, Lobzang Sherab, and other public representatives spoke on the occasion. Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Khaltse, Suhail Ahmad, Tehsildar Saspol, SHO Khaltse, and officers from various departments were also present at the event.
This new police station will serve as a major step towards better policing and improved services for the people of Ladakh, especially the sham region.
