JKSSB aspirants demand scrapping of contract with blacklisted company Aptech for recruitment process

Protest

In a recent turn of events, aspiring candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recruitment have taken to the streets to demand the scrapping of the contract with the blacklisted company, Aptech.

The JKSSB aspirants argue that Aptech, a company that was blacklisted in 2015 by the University Grants Commission (UGC), should not have the power to decide the fate of the youth. The company has been accused of providing low-quality education and training to students, which has resulted in the blacklisting.

The protesters have demanded that the JKSSB hire a transparent, professional, and accountable agency to hold the recruitment process, citing the need to save the future of the youth. They fear that if Aptech is allowed to conduct the recruitment process, the youth of Jammu and Kashmir may not receive a fair chance at getting selected for the government jobs.

The protest has garnered significant attention from the media, and social media is buzzing with messages of support for the JKSSB aspirants. The hashtag #JKSSB, #BANAPTECH has been trending on Twitter, with many people expressing their solidarity with the protesters.

The JKSSB aspirants have also submitted a memorandum to the authorities, stating their demands and requesting that the contract with Aptech be canceled immediately. They have urged the authorities to take prompt action and ensure that the recruitment process is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.

In response to the protests, the authorities have assured the JKSSB aspirants that their demands will be considered, and appropriate action will be taken to ensure a transparent and fair recruitment process.

This incident highlights the need for transparency and accountability in the recruitment process. The youth of Jammu and Kashmir deserve a fair chance at government jobs, and it is the responsibility of the authorities to ensure that the recruitment process is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
