BDC Gurez Fameeda raised many issues being faced by the people of Gurez, Bagtore and Tulail.
The residents of Gurez Valley in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district have been facing a lot of problems
in absence of medical staff in various Primary health care centers including SDH Dawar Gurez she said.
Meanwhile, a week ago, the CMO office bandipora had issued orders to the 22 medical and paramedical staff to join back in Gurez and other adjacent postings,
these employees were attached to headquarter Bandipora hospital to increase the manpower during the COVID-19 Pandemic, furtherore
a very small number of medical and para medical employees are presently working day and night
and doing their best to cure the patients in Gurez PHC’s and Hospitals.
while taking to JKYouth Dr. Abu Bakar(Local junior resident doctor) expressed this anger,
he said that few staff members are presently available in SDH Gurez
and it becomes a very tough situation for us to manage all these patients,
we demand the government to immediately send required staff in all PHC’s and Hospitals in Gurez, Bagtore, and Tulail.
Now the CMO Office bandipora has halted the orders issued before a week to the 22 Medical and Paramedical staff to join back in Gurez valley, at last
BDC Fameeda Begum expressed her disappointment over this action of CMO Bandipora,
she has already written and sent a letter to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Pandurang K. Pole (IAS) regarding the same issue.
I am once again requesting LG Manoj Sinha to please intervene in this matter
and solve the miseries of their own people living in these snow bounded mountains, she said.
