JKBOPEE Admission to B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc. Paramedical /B.Sc. Technology Courses- 2024 in Government / Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K: Invitation of online applications thereof.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Examinations(JKBOPEE) has invited Online Applications are invited from the eligible/desirous candidates who intend to appear in the Entrance Test for admission to B.Sc. Nursing /B.Sc. Paramedical / B.Sc. Technology Courses for the academic session-2024 in Government / Private Colleges / Institutions of UT of J&K. The selection of the candidates to such courses shall be regulated by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination.

  6. Date of Common Entrance Test: (to be notified separately).
  7. The candidates, in their own interest, are advised to go through the Information Brochure before filling up the Online Application Form. The Board shall not be responsible for any act of omission or commission in filling up of the Online Application Form by the candidate(s). It is incumbent upon the candidates to go through the information contained in the e-Information Brochure and agree to the conditions contained therein.
  8. The candidates are further advised to remain in touch with the BOPEE website www.jkbopee.gov.in. The Board does not undertake any responsibility for any

Submission of Online Application Forms:

The interested candidates are required to upload the following scanned original / self-attested certificates in PDF format with size from 100-200 KB along with the Application Form: –

  • domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate)
  • Qualifying marks (12th Class) certificate; (where result is declared),
  • Date of Birth Certificate (only Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board); andValid Reserved category certificate, if any,
  • Any other documents, as requested.

However, it is for the information of all the concerned that afore-titled documents as required for submission of application form shall be considered provisional and subject to change(s), if any, as may be notified by the Government subsequently.

JKBOPEE Eligibility for B.Sc. Nursing Programme:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Programme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

A candidate must:

  • be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
  • be 17 years old on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • have passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually including the candidates from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • For the candidates belonging to reserved categories, the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General category candidates.
  • The candidate must be medically fit.

Further the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admission as may be notified by the Board;

Eligibility for B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses:

The candidates applying for admission to B.Sc. Para-Medical Courses must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

A candidate must:

  • be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);
  • be at least 17 years old on 31st December-2024;
  • have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (PCB) and English through a recognized Board / University securing minimum 50% marks and above for Open Merit Candidates and 40 % marks and above for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories in aggregate;

Further, the candidates appearing/appeared in 10+2 (12th Class) examination; 2024 can also apply, provided such candidates have qualified the examination at the time of declaration of the result of the Entrance Test or before the date of counseling/admission as may be notified by the Board;

The candidates applying for Lateral Entry only must have obtained diploma in concerned stream and having passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and diploma registered with J&K Para-Medical Council.

Eligibility for B.Sc. Technology Courses in SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar: A candidate must:

  1. be a domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be (For Candidates

belonging to UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by Competent authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile certificate);

  • be at least 17 years old on 31st December-2024,
  • have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science (PCB) and English through recognized Board / University securing minimum 50% marks and above for Open Merit Candidates and 40% marks and above for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories in aggregate;

Note – I

The eligibility is bare minimum/provisional and shall be subject to such changes/bench marks as may be fixed by the concerned Competent Authority/ University. The Board shall on receipt of any such communication from the concerned authority/University notify the same, which shall govern the eligibility criteria.

Original Documents required to be submitted in the Institution at the time of Admission: –

  1. Marks certificate of the qualifying examinations (12th class marks certificate);
  2. Date of birth (Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate) from a recognized Board;
  3. Domicile Certificate for candidates belonging to UT of J&K and ST certificate as a Domicile for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh;
  4. Category Certificate, if any;
  5. Any other document as may be required by the Institution.

Kashmir Division, June 25, 2023 – The Controller of Examinations for J&K Para-Medical and Nursing Council of Kashmir Division has officially announced the results for the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) 3rd Year and GNM 3rd Year Lateral Entry trainees for the session of March-April 2023. The examination was conducted during the months of March and April 2023, with practical examinations held in May 2023.

All Principal Directors and Chairpersons of Government and Private AMT/ANMT/GNM Schools and Private Para-Medical Institutes in Kashmir Division, including Leh and Kargil, are hereby informed about the declaration of results through this official notification. This information is crucial for the issuance of marks certificates and provisional certificates to the successful candidates.

The Controller of Examinations will issue Marks Certificates to the candidates who have successfully passed their Final Part of the Examination, as indicated in this notification. Principals of all Government/Private AMT/ANMT/GNM Schools and Private Para-Medical Institutes are responsible for issuing Provisional Certificates to the trainees. However, before doing so, they must verify the particulars of each examinee mentioned in this notification with their office records and result gazette.

If any discrepancies or variations are found, the concerned authorities should report them to the Controller of Examinations’ office within a period of 10 days from the date of issuance of this notification. It is essential to take prompt action in such cases to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results. In the absence of any report regarding discrepancies, the candidate’s details as mentioned in this notification will be considered correct. No requests for correction or modification will be entertained afterward.

The Controller of Examinations for J&K Para-Medical and Nursing Council of Kashmir Division, along with the Principals of Government/Private AMT/ANMT/GNM Schools and Institutes concerned, are requested to take the necessary actions accordingly. This includes issuing the appropriate certificates to successful candidates and addressing any reported discrepancies within the given timeframe.
