For candidates registering afresh, there is an online counseling fee of Rs. 1500/- that must be paid during the online counseling process. They must also take a printout of their application form to ensure that the fee of Rs. 1500/- is reflected on the printed form after submitting and locking the preference form.

Candidates who have previously participated in the counseling process for MBBS/BDS courses do not need to pay the counseling fee again. However, if they are interested in Ayush/Unani/BPT courses, they must fill out a fresh online preference/choices form.

It’s important to note that the reservation policy of UT of Jammu and Kashmir applies only to Government Ayurveda/Government Unani Colleges.

Nursing Course, and the counseling schedule for this significant leap has been unveiled.

In the month of August 2023, the JKBOPEE, through Notification No. 071-BOPEE dated 26-08-2023, announced the results of candidates who had undertaken the Common Entrance Test on 20-08-2023. Candidates were advised to submit objections, if any, within three days of the notification’s issuance. However, no objections were received within the stipulated time frame, rendering the rank wise list annexed to Notification No. 071-BOPEE of 2023 dated 26-08-2023 as final.

JKBOPEE Post Basic BSc Nursing Counseling Schedule

The eagerly awaited counseling for candidates who secured 30 marks and above in the Common Entrance Test, i.e., Rank 01 to Rank 590, is scheduled for Wednesday, 06-09-2023. This physical counseling will be conducted according to the following schedule:

Mandatory Documents

Candidates participating in the counseling process are required to report to the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar at 08:30 a.m. for Registration cum Attendance purposes. They should carry the following documents in their original form:

  • Domicile Certificate
  • Date of Birth Certificate (10th class Marks Card/Diploma)
  • 12th Class Marks Card
  • GNM Marks Card of all Semesters / Years.

Counseling Fee

A counseling fee of Rs. 1000/- is mandatory for all eligible and participating candidates. This fee can be conveniently deposited through POS machines available at the BOPEE offices in Jammu or Srinagar, either through Debit/Credit Card.

JKBOPEE Seats Allocation

It’s worth noting that all the available seats for the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course are in private institutions. Consequently, there will be no reservation for candidates in these institutions. Reservation policies are exclusively applicable to government institutions. Therefore, candidates should verify the fee structure with the respective colleges before engaging in the counseling process.

Proxy Representation

In cases where a candidate is unable to attend counseling personally due to genuine reasons, they may authorize a person from their family (blood relation) to attend on their behalf. This authorized individual must present an Authority letter along with their ID Proof.
