National Testing Agency (NTA) started the online application process for the CSIR UGC NET December-2022 / June-2023 examination.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online application process for the CSIR UGC NET December-2022 / June-2023 examination. Candidates will be able to apply for the examination on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in till April 10 upto 5.00 PM. Applicants will be able to make changes to their application forms from April 12 to 18.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET December-2022 / June-2023 will be conducted in CBT mode on June 6, 7 and 8 for a duration of 3 hours. CSIR NET Eligibility criteria

Age: JRF: Maximum 28 years as on July 1, 2022. Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.

Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55%.

Candidates from General category are required to pay the fee of Rs 1100, whereas Rs 550 is applicable to candidates from General-EWS/OBC-NCL category. The application fee for SC/ST/Third gender is Rs 275 and PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.

What is CSIR NET?

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) NET (also known as CSIR UGC NET) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in the universities and colleges of India. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared CSIR UGC NET results 2022 on Saturday. Candidates who have appeared for Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination can check their results at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET exam: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official site of CSIR UGC NET at csirnet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on CSIR UGC NET Results 2022 link available on the home page

Step 3: Enter the login details and click on submit

Step 4: Result will be displayed on the screen

The CSIR UGC NET examinations were held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 16-18 September 2022. The exams were held in two sessions, morning and evening at 306 centres across 166 cities.

This year, a total of 2,21,746 candidates registered for the exam out of which 1,62,084 appeared. Of the 1,62,084 candidates, 67,813 were male candidates, 94,269 were female candidates and two candidates were from the third gender.

A maximum number of candidates appeared for the Life Sciences paper (62,655), followed by chemical sciences (36,374) and mathematical sciences (30,942).

CSIR UGC NET Answer Key 2022 Download Link: The National Testing Agency(NTA) has released the answer key for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research -University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) today, October 01, 2022. All those students who have appeared for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2022 Examination can check and download the CSIR UGC NET Answer Key 2022 by visiting the official website of CSIR at csirnet.nta.nic.in. This year, the CSIR UGC NET examination was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The exam was held between September 16 to 18, 2022, in 338 examination Centres located in 166 Cities across the Country. Candidates can also raise objections, if any, against the UGC CSIR NET Provisional answer key till October 03, 2022. “The candidates, who are not satisfied with any Answer Key, may challenge the same by paying a fee of ₹200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per question challenged as a non-refundable processing fee,” NTA in an official notification said.

Your CSIR UGC NET Answer Key will be displayed on the screen.
Download it and take a printout of it for future reference.

No challenge will be entertained without receipt of the processing fee. The Challenges will not be accepted through any other medium.

If the challenge of any candidate in respect of any answer key is found to be correct, the answer key thereof will be revised and used for processing the results of all the candidates who attempted that question.

The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 03rd October, 2022 (up to 11:50 P.M.).
