The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday sanctioned 1366 posts for 500 COVID-19 bed Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) hospitals to be made functional here.
In this regard, an order has been issued by the Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Department (H&ME), Atal Dullo, a copy of which lies with the news agencies.
The order reads that 683 posts have been kept for DRDO hospitals in Jammu and Srinagar respectively, expenditure on account of salary and maintenance of these hospitals which shall be borne out of the UT budget.

The contractual engagement on the gazette level posts shall be made by the committees on the basis of walk in interview. the nursing staff and paramedical/ technical staff shall be engaged as per the criteria to be worked by the two committees.
All the appointees shall be paid full salary corresponding to the minimum of the pay scale including all allowances as long as they remain in the service and actually perform the duties.

can you please tell me on what basis they can extend it…i mean if covid ends in 1 year then how can they extend it…. please please let me know….i am already working under contractual job but that is little bit secure but here DRDO i got double salary…..i have a confusion to join or not
The high court has recently passed a judgement to first do something to all the contract employees in the health department and then only advertise new posts, Drdo employees also fall in this.
