IGNOU Offers Online Hindi Awareness course for Foreign Nationals in partnership with ICCR and CHD

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is preparing to offer a 3 month duration Online Basic Hindi Awareness course for Foreign Nationals in partnership with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and Central Hindi Directorate (CHD).

In the presence of Professor Nageshwar Rao, VC IGNOU, and Kumar Tuhin, Director General ICCR, and other key officials of ICCRCHD, and IGNOU a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed regarding to the course. 

IGNOU in an official statement stated A tripartite agreement is signed among Dr Alok Chaube, Registrar (Admin), IGNOU, Shri Rajeev Kumar, Deputy Director General (DDG) and Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO), ICCR, and Ms. Madhu Sandlesh, Deputy Director, Central Hindi Directorate.

The Online Hindi Awareness program to commence from November 16, 2022. IGNOU has received a total of 226 applications for this program from nine countries including Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Iran, China, Vietnam, Mauritius, Taiwan, and Romania.

Meanwhile, IGNOU has extended the last date for IGNOU Admission till November 11, 2022. The aspiring students can fill out the registration form by reaching out to the official website at @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. IGNOU Exam Form submission last date is November 10, 2022 and the last date for the submission of IGNOU Assignment for the December TEE is November 30, 2022.
