Incharge Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Tsewang Rigzin today chaired a meeting at Conference Hall Padum, Zanskar to review the preparations for Republic Day celebration in the sub-division.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding various arrangements to be put in place including venue, seating arrangement, prize distribution, first aid facilities, transportation etc.
The incharge SDM Zanskar directed all the officers to work in coordination for a smooth and peaceful celebration of the upcoming Republic Day 2023.
He also directed to ensure the themes of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and India’s presidency of the G20 during the Republic Day celebration. The meeting was attended by all the sub-divisional level officers.
It was decided that the National Flag will be hoisted by the chief guest at 11 a.m. at Sports Stadium Ground Padum, Zanskar.
