Steps to Register on JKHRMS Portal

  • Open the Portal using URL “hrms.jk.gov.in”
  • Click on Employee Register
  • Enter employee id, mobile number and Date of Birth as entered in the existing CPIS Portal and verification code.
  • An OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number. OTP is valid for only 10 minute
  • Enter the OTP and set the password as per your convenience. The password must be:
  • Minimum 8 Character long
    • Must have One Capital letter (A-Z)
    • Must have One Small Letter (a-z),
    • Must have One digit (0-10)
    • Must have One Special Character out of (@, #, $, ~)

Adding Nominee on JKHRMS

Nomination refers to adding a family member as the nominee for your bank account, GP fund, Insurance etc. This is usually done to ensure that the money in the account is the hands of the successor authorized by the account holder in the unfortunate event of his/her demise.

JKHRMS Correction Form

The Correction form is given to make any sort of edit in the details you have provided to Jammu and Kashmir Government, if you see any wrong detail like your name, your parents name, DOB, Joining and other dates, Nominees, Salary details etc., you can apply for correction, the process is very simple, you just have to click on the Correction Form on the top of the right corner and select the item you want to edit as shown in this image below here.

JKHRMS Personal details updating process

Here you can edit any of the given detail and then just press Blue Close button.

Now you will reach on the Final Submission Page, there first Click on the BOX which says I certify… and then Press the Navy Blue Submit All Form Button, ad that is it, you have successfully summited your details your updating.

JKHRMS Correction Process

JKHRMS takes almost 15 days to update your details, you can check these details after exactly 15 days by logging in on hrms.gov.in portal with the same user id and Password.

Steps to for data updating on JKHRMS

An employee can raise a request for the data updation. For Data Correction the following steps are to be followed.

Employee End

  • Open and login in the portal “hrms.jk.gov.in” using credentials set at the time or Registration.
  • On the Left Menu Bar click on Correction Form
  • Select the each form from the list display
  • Based on the Selected form will displayed on the new window. Remember the Popup should be enabled in the browser
  • Make the desired corrections, also upload your latest photograph along-with the scanned copies of promotions, first appointment etc.
  • Ensure you have visited each forma and confirm the data for each form.
  • After confirming the each form the click on declaration and submit it to the DDO.

DDO End  

The DDO can login on the JKhrms portal using the same credential as used in CPIS and verifies the data after comparing with the service book of the employee.

JKHRMS Portal Registration Benefits

  • JKHRMS Portal is The Centralized Personnel Information System that has integrated the service related information of all J&K employees, including basic information, initial appointment/joining, qualification, contact details, posting, promotion details, Photograph, Bank Details Etc.
  • JKHRMS lets workers register and verify service information directly from their phone. 
  • If employee information is wrong, the employee must fill out the dashboard’s Correction Form and submit it to DDO for approval. 
  • The updating process takes 15 days and employees can check their updated details by using the User Id and Password exactly after 15 working days.

Food Safety Department conducts Market Checking in Kupwara town

KUPWARA  : The Food Safety Department today issued a compound of Rs 20,000 on 17 food business operators in main market Kupwara for insanitary conditions and violation of Food Safety Regulations-2011.

The action against the guilty was taken during a massive market checking at various locations across main town Kupwara by a team, led by Assistant Commissioner Food Safety ICLC Kashmir, Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Kupwara and concerned functionaries of the Food Safety Department.

The team conducted rigorous market checking of various restaurants, fast food outlets, tea stalls and ethnic street food makers.

On the occasion, the team warned the erring food business operators not to indulge in violations of food safety regulations and insanitary conditions which are against public health failing which a hefty compound will be imposed upon them in future.

The Assistant Commissioner stressed on sale of safe and quality food items and said the drive is being carried out to ensure all Food Safety Standards are practiced in letter and spirit.

Meanwhile, the authorities have also sought cooperation from the general masses and have asked for feedback regarding the supply of substandard consumable goods so that requisite and prompt action under rules can be taken to curb such trade practices.

BANDIPORA : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bandipora on Saturday organized a legal awareness camp on early access to justice at pre-arrest, arrest and remand stage at Dak Bunglow, Sumbal.

The programme was organised in collaboration with Sub Division Police Office Sumbal under the chairmanship of Chairman DLSA and Principal District and Sessions Judge, Bandipora Amit Sharma and under the guidance of Secretary DLSA Bandipora, Nusrat Ali Hakak.

The programme was inaugurated by Secretary Nusrat Ali Hakak while Mir Aabid SDPO Sumbal, Masood Ahmad, SHO Sumbal, IOs of Police Post Nowgam and Ajas were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Secretary DLSA Bandipora said that early access to justice framework is devised primarily with the objectives to provide legal assistance to needy suspects and arrestees during interrogation and other early stages of investigation to decrease the vulnerabilities of suspects and arrestees.

She said it helps in avoiding unnecessary arrests, to assist the arrestees in filing bail applications and furnishing bail bonds.

Hakak highlighted the role of legal services authorities and the coordination between the police authorities and legal services Authorities for effective implementation of early access to justice framework.

Advocate Irshad Ahmad Dar resource person also delivered a lecture on the framework of providing Legal Assistance at Pre-Arrest, Arrest and Remand Stage.

He also apprised the gathering about the role of DLSAs and rights of persons at pre-arrest, arrest and at remand stage including the right to avail free legal aid from Legal Services Institutions.

The programme was attended by officials of Sub Division Police Office Sumbal, Staff Members of DLSA Bandipora, Staff Members of TLSC Sumbal, Para Legal Volunteers of Sumbal & students of GDC Sumbal.

SMC Assures Completion of Road Projects on G-20 Meet Routes Before April 15

Srinagar : The Srinagar Municipal Commission (SMC) has been working tirelessly to ensure that everything is in place for the upcoming G-20 summit whilst one of the major concerns being the road infrastructure leading to the venue which needs to be completed before the commencement of summit.

The SMC, under the aegis of Commissioner Athar Aamir Khan has assured of completion of the road project before April 15.

“The clock is ticking and the pressure is on for the SMC to deliver on their promise”, Athar Aamir Khan said adding as the construction workers continue to toil hard, the city is abuzz with anticipation for the G-20 summit.

“Those projects which are important as per the requirement of the G20 summit will be finished before April 15 and the already issued guidelines will be duly followed,” Khan as per GNS said.

“We are on our toes and our first priority is to finish the projects of Lal Chowk [the heart of the city] at an earliest. If the weather suits our target, it is fixed and we will complete the full project in due time,” Aamir said.

Talking about the recent scarcity of water supply in Srinagar city, Aamir said that such a situation arises when work is done on any road. “The damaged pipes will be replaced and the water supply will be fixed soon. Our site engineers and technicians are trying their level best not to damage any sort of pipeline, and if it happens, it will get replaced on priority.”

“As the Chief of the Smart City project, I would like to request everyone to have patience and give us some time”, he said. (GNS)

DC Srinagar reviews preparations for Badamibagh Cantonment Board (BCB) Elections-2023


SRINAGAR:- In order to review the preparations regarding conduct of Ordinary Elections-2023 of Badamibagh Cantonment Board(BCB) scheduled to be held on April 30, 2023, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad here on Saturday at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Syed Shabir Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer BCB, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Raies Ahmad Bhat, Deputy District Election Officer(DDEO), Shakeel Hussain, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Jameel, Tehsildar South, Moean Azhar Kakroo and other Officials of District Election Authority were present in the meeting.

At the outset, the District Magistrate(DM), Srinagar held a detailed discussion with the CEO, Badamibagh Cantonment Board regarding preparations being made for smooth conduct of Ordinary Elections-2023 in all 7 wards under BCB.

On the occasion, the DC also took a detailed review about the Election schedule, appointment of Returning Officer, finalization of Electoral Rolls, Deployment of Staff, setting  up of Polling Stations and other necessary arrangements related to casting of votes, etc.

The DC/DM was apprised that in consonance with the notification issued by the Ministry of Defence(MoD) for conduct of elections for 57 cantonment boards in the country, the 7 electoral wards in which Badamibagh Cantonment Board is divided are scheduled to go for polls on April 30 (Sunday).

The DC/DM was informed that over 10000 electorates are going to exercise their franchise on scheduled poll day at 40 designated polling stations.

The DC/DM assured the CEO Badamibagh Cantonment Board that all possible support will be given from District Administration Srinagar to ensure smooth, fair and peaceful conduct of BCB Elections-2023.

Pertinent  to mention that the Cantt Board elections last time were held in 2015.

ADGP Armed Reviews Final Arrangements For All India Police Football Championship

Srinagar : ADGP Armed J&K S.J.M Gillani-IPS convened a meeting of concerned officers and officials to review the final arrangements and preparations for the smooth and successful conduct of 71st B.N Mullik Memorial All India Police Football Championship 2022-23 hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Police from 11th-21st March 2023 at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar. Moreover, draw of lots for distributing the teams into groups and rehearsal ceremony for the opening ceremony of the championship were also held.

The police said that the meeting convened and presided by the ADGP Armed J&K was attended by all the managers of football teams, designated nodal officers, members of J&K Football Association alongwith technical officers for carrying out different activities related to the event.

During the meeting, Draws of Lots was held in which teams were distributed into eight (08) groups viz Group (A)-Group (H). In the Group (A) teams of CRPF, SSB, Sikkim and Chhattisgarh have been placed. Similarly, teams of West Bengal Police, HP Police, Chandigarh and RPF in Group (B), CISF, Maharashtra, Odisha and ITBP in Group (C), Mizoram Police, Gujarat Police, Jharkhand and MP in Group (D), Assam Rifles, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, Manipur and Puducherry in Group (E), Punjab Police, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Telangana in Group (F), Kerala Police, Arunachal Police, Bihar and J&K in Group (G) and BSF, Haryana, Delhi, Assam and Goa in Group (H) have been placed, he said.

While addressing the meeting, S.J.M Gillani-IPS divulged that football teams from across the country are participating in the championship. He directed the managing staff that even small things relating to conduct of the event should be flawless and carried out meticulously in all respect. He further directed that all the arrangements must be put in place for the opening and closing of the championship and participation of public, students and civil society members should be ensured, he said.

In his address, ADGP said that hosting such an event is an honour for the J&K Police and we are committed to provide you every possible facility during the event. He impressed upon the managing staff to put in place all possible resources for the smooth conduct of the event. He further added that this event will also be learning experience for our sports persons of the UT and will boost their morale, he said.

Later on, dress rehearsal was conducted by the participating teams for the opening ceremony scheduled tomorrow on 12th of March 2023 which was also witnessed by the senior police officers including ADGP Armed S.J.M Gillani-IPS.

12 Day acting, direction workshop kick-starts in Srinagar


SRINAGAR :  A 12-day long workshop for honing acting and direction skills of theatre artists began here on Saturday. The workshop also marks the formal inauguration of NSD Centre in Srinagar.

The workshop has been organised by the Theatre-in-Education Centre of National School of Drama (NSD) in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages.

The inaugural session was led by eminent theatre faculty of the National School of Drama comprising Prof. Santanu Bose, Dipankar Paul, Yeshraj Jhadav, and Sandeep Bhattacharya.

According to NSD officials, the initiative is aimed at giving exposure to theatre artists in the Kashmir Valley to industry standards on acting and direction skills.

Diverse range of topics dwelling on various aspects of acting and direction will be covered during the workshop by theatre persons. The workshop is being monitored by NSD’s Centre I/c, Prof. Santanu Bose.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Bose said that the workshop would help the artists of Kashmir to get breakthrough roles on different stages and platforms.

The theatre workshop is being coordinated by NSD’s Srinagar coordinator, Gulzar Ganai. Around 30 students from various parts of Kashmir valley are participating in it.

Those who spoke on the occasion included NSD’s Centre I/c, Prof. Santanu Bose, JKAACL Kashmir I/c, Dr. Farooq Anwaar Mirza, NSD’s Srinagar Coordinator, Gulzar Ganai, and NSD faculty members -Dipankar Paul, Yeshraj Jhadav, and Sandeep Bhattachargya.

Among others, the inaugural function was attended by Academy’s Srinagar based senior functionaries besides teaching faculty of the NSD

The workshop, which is an initiative of NSD Director, Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Chandra Gaur, will conclude on 22nd of this month.

SHOPIAN : The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Shopian in collaboration with Fire and Emergency Department, Shopian today organized an awareness cum demonstration programme on Fire Safety at District Court premises Shopian.

The programme was organised under the supervision of Chairman DLSA, who is also Principal District & Sessions Judge Shopian.

District & Sessions Judge Shopian, Secretary/Sub judge DLSA Shopian, Chief Judicial Magistrate Shopian, Bar Members, Court Staff, DLSA Staff and a large number of people present on the occasion.

The training programme was imparted to the court staff regarding the rescue operations at the time of fire incidents.

The Fire and Emergency Services Department presented a demo for the rescue operations by constituting separate teams i.e. rescue team, primary first aid team, search operation team and transportation team. Each team performed functions very efficiently and effectively.

Chairman DLSA Shopian thanked the department for imparting the training to the Court officials and general public.
