In a significant development for aspiring healthcare professionals, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the official notification for the Paramedical Counselling 2023. This counselling process is crucial for admission to 12th Based Paramedical Diploma Courses including General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), Medical Record Technician (MRT), and various other Paramedical Diploma and D. Pharmacy Courses for the academic year 2023. The counselling sessions will be conducted in both Government and Private Colleges/Institutions across the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Important Points to Note:

  1. Physical Attendance: Candidates must physically report at the BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar for registration and other formalities between 8:30 am to 10:00 am on their designated counselling dates.
  2. Document Verification: Candidates are required to bring their Domicile Certificate and other relevant documents/certificates as applicable for verification during the counselling.
  3. Seat Allotment: The allotment of seats (Discipline/Institution) will be made based on the merit list and other applicable regulations.
  4. Missed Counselling: Candidates missing their counselling on a designated day can participate the next day, but no claims will be entertained for seats already allotted to other candidates in the meantime.
  5. Rejected Candidates: Candidates failing to submit their marks card of class 12th within the prescribed time limit have been disqualified.
  6. Authorized Representation: Candidates unable to attend counselling physically can authorize a representative through an Authority Letter, provided by the board.
  7. Provisional Selection: Provisional selection letters will be issued on the spot. Candidates must join the allotted College/Institution immediately after receiving the selection letter; failure to do so will forfeit their eligibility for subsequent counselling rounds.
