Provisional Approval for Deficient Documents: Some candidates’ application forms were found deficient due to missing documents such as Domicile Certificate, Date of Birth (D.O.B.), 12th Class Marks Card, and Compulsory Service Bond for candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, among others. These candidates have been granted provisional approval to participate in the Online Counseling process. However, they must submit all the deficient documents, along with other relevant documents required by the Colleges/Institutions, at the time of admission, if selected. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their selection at their own risk and responsibility.
  2. Gender Correction: Candidates whose names are listed in Annexure-A are advised to check their Gender (Male/Female). If any corrections are necessary, they must communicate them to the Board through a physical application at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar by 29-07-2023 without fail.
  3. Sports Category: The Board has received a list of candidates who applied under the Sports Category from Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Srinagar/Jammu. A rank-wise list of such candidates has been prepared by the Board (Annexure-B). However, being listed in the sports category does not guarantee a seat claim. The ranking is solely for determining eligibility under the sports category, not for merit determination.
  4. CDP Category Certificate Correction: Candidates who have filled the CDP Category but uploaded an old certificate have been provisionally included in the PML. However, they must submit a fresh CDP Certificate with the correct Priority as per the prescribed format at the BOPEE Office in Jammu or Srinagar by or before 29th July 2023.
  5. Deficient Reserved Category Certificates: Candidates with deficient Reserved Category Certificates must submit valid Category Certificates physically at the BOPEE office by 29.07.2023 (02.00 p.m.) or they will be considered under Open merit.
  6. EWS Category Certificate Correction: Candidates who uploaded EWS Certificates as per the Central Format but not as per SRO 518 of 2019 have been provisionally included in the Provisional Merit List. However, they must submit their valid EWS Category Certificate physically by 29th July 2023 (till 02:00 p.m.) to avoid automatic conversion to the Open category.
  7. PwD Certificate Verification: Candidates who uploaded PwD Certificates on their own have been provisionally included in the Provisional Merit Lists. However, the genuineness of their PwD certificate shall be ascertained (wherever required) by the respective College Authority as per MCI/NMC/DCI guidelines during or after the time of admission. If found ineligible under this category at any later stage, the admission will be canceled.

JKCET Merit List 2023

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has taken significant strides in the admission process for various courses in 2023. As part of this process, a Tentative Merit List of eligible candidates has been meticulously prepared and is now available on the BOPEE website, www.jkbopee.gov.in. This move is aimed at making the list accessible to the public and allowing candidates to raise any objections, if necessary. The purpose is to ensure a smooth and timely completion of the admission process, including the allocation of seats.

JKCET Merit List 2023

The BOPEE had previously issued a notification, No. 039-BOPEE of 2023 dated 12-07-2023, providing candidates with a final opportunity until 17.07.2023 at 3:00 pm to rectify any deficiencies in their documents. Those who failed to comply with this requirement and submit their marks cards by the specified date (17-07-2023) have had their candidatures canceled, making them ineligible for counseling.

Furthermore, some candidates had submitted their online application forms with only their 12th class marks, failing to upload their marks cards. Nevertheless, these candidates have been provisionally included in the tentative merit list, with a condition that they must produce their marks cards during counseling.

Candidates whose Category Certificates were either expired or shown as deficient until the last day of submission of online application forms, as mentioned in the Notice No. 039-BOPEE of 2023, have been converted into the OM Category.

To address any concerns or objections related to the Tentative Merit List, candidates are required to submit them in person at the Board’s offices in Jammu or Srinagar during working days until 27th of July 2023, up to 4:00 p.m. It is essential for candidates to adhere to this deadline, as claims received after the stipulated date will not be entertained under any circumstances.

However, the tentative merit list will only be considered final after the Board has resolved all the objections received from candidates within the specified cut-off date. If no objections are received within the given time frame, the tentative merit list will be deemed final.

To stay informed about the counseling schedule, candidates must regularly check the official website of the Board, www.jkbopee.gov.in. The counseling schedule will be announced shortly after resolving all objections raised by candidates regarding the tentative merit list available on the website.
