Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the admit card for the post of Assistant Engineer (Mechanical). Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website jkpsc.nic.in.
The exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 24, 2022, from 12 noon to 2.00 PM at Jammu/Srinagar.
“In case you are not able to download your admit card, you may contact the (Computer Section) J&K Public Service Commission, Solina Srinagar/Resham Garh Colony, Jammu, with a valid proof of having filled in Online Application form & Fee,” reads the notification.
The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 52 Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) posts.
JKPSC AE Mechanical Admit Card 2022: How to download?
- Visit the official website – jkpsc.nic.in
- Then click on the link that reads under the What’s New section “16/12/2022 Download Admit Card for the Written Test of AE Mechanical-2022″
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- Click on enter and the admit card will be displayed on the screen
- Download the admit card and keep a print out
Candidates will be selected based on the exam conducted and those selected will be shortlisted for the interview/viva-voce round. The paper is of 100 marks and objective type based.

JKPSC AE Exam Pattern 2022
The JKPSC AE Exam pattern helps you to understand the scheme followed in the exam. Understanding the exam pattern will help you to carry out your preparation according to the weightage given to each topic or section. The exam pattern for the same has been detailed below:
Written Exam
- The exam will be multiple choice based questions.
- There will be 100 questions in total.
- There will be a negative marking of ¼th of mark assigned to the question.

Interview/ Viva-Voce Test
Once the candidates get through the written examination successfully, they will be called in for the interview round. The number of candidates shall be restricted to three times the number of vacancies in order of merit. Questions will be asked from the JKPSC AE syllabus of the written exam and general knowledge. The interview round will be conducted for 25 points. Candidates must prepare well to crack the interview round and get selected for the AE post in JKPSC.
