The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has released the selection list for the five posts of Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Medical Lab Technology. The selection list has been released in accordance with the relevant rules of the Department of Skill Development, which had referred the posts to the JKPSC for filling up.
The notification for the posts was issued by the JKPSC in January 2022, and a total of 315 applications were received in response. A written test was conducted in November 2022, in which 223 candidates appeared. The result of the written test was declared in December 2022, and 25 candidates were called for the interview.
The viva-voce of the candidates who had qualified the written exam was conducted in April 2023 with the assistance of experts. Candidates who have passed the final professional M.B.B.S or any other Medical Examination but have not completed their internship by the time of submission of their applications for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, will be provisionally admitted to the Examination provided they submit a copy of certificate from the concerned authority of the University/Institution that they had passed the requisite final professional medical examination.
