Class 4th aspirants today staged a protest demonstration against JKSSB for unlimited delaying in 2nd phase of documents verification for pending 3000 posts in different departments which were announced by the recruitment agency, here today.
These posts were advertised under advertisement number 01 of 2020 dated 26/06/2020.
The aspirants were chanting slogans against the recruitment agency by holding banners and placards and castigated the agency for unlimited delaying in 2nd phase of documents verification.
“About 4 lacs aspirants were enrolled for the said exam wherein 3.29 lacs were appeared in the exam. The JKSSB shortlisted nearly 9652 candidates including graduates for document verification but after Court order in which graduates were excluded from the verification and then the agency shortlisted 5527 candidates,” they informed.
Thereafter, the JKSSB allotted departments to only 5175 candidates and again eliminated 352 candidates who are completely verified by Police and CID, they said.
“We repeatedly asked the JKSSB chairman for 2nd phase of document verification, but they deliberately delayed the process. The aspirants of far flung areas are running from pillar to post for the verification but nobody seems bothered about it,” they alleged
