The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued the much-awaited admit cards for the OMR based Written Examination scheduled to be held on 21st September 2023, for the post of Junior Assistant and Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator, as advertised in Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2022 under item No.s 001 to 017. This announcement brings relief and anticipation to thousands of aspiring candidates who have been eagerly waiting for this crucial update.

The OMR based Written Examination will be conducted by the JKSSB as per the following details:

  • Date of Examination: 21st September 2023

Admit Card Availability:

Admit Cards for candidates with the examination scheduled on 21st September 2023 will be available for download on the official website of JKSSB (www.jkssb.nic.in) from 15th September 2023, 04:00 PM, to 21st September 2023. It is imperative that candidates keep an eye on the website during this window to access their Admit Cards promptly.

How to Download JKSSB Admit Card:

To download their Admit Cards, candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of JKSSB, which is www.jkssb.nic.in.
  2. On the homepage, locate the option to download the E-Admit Card.
  3. Click on the “LOGIN” link/button.
  4. Enter your login credentials, which include your E-mail ID and Date of Birth.
  5. Your username will be your E-mail ID, and your password should be entered in DDMMYYYY format, representing your Date of Birth.
  6. After successful login, your basic details will be displayed. Verify these details carefully. In case of any discrepancies, contact the helpdesk via call or email.
  7. Click on the ‘View and Print E-Admit Card’ button.
  8. Your JKSSB E-Admit Card will appear on the screen. Ensure that you download and print it.
  9. On the day of the examination, remember to bring the printed copy of your E-Admit Card for verification.

Important Information for Candidates:

  • Candidates must thoroughly read the instructions contained in the Admit Card.
  • In case of any difficulties or issues related to the Admit Card, candidates can contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar) or write to JKSSB at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help-Desk will be active from 15th September 2023 to 21st September 2023 during office hours.
  • It is crucial for candidates to avoid misrepresentation, concealment of any material facts, impersonation, or fraud, as such actions can lead to the cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.
  • The Board reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate found ineligible at any stage.
  • Candidates should be aware that there will be negative marking for wrong answers (1/4th of allotted marks for each wrong answer) attempted in the examination. Detailed criteria of selection and syllabi for the posts have already been notified and are available on the official website of the Board (www.jkssb.nic.in).
  • Stay updated with the JKSSB’s official website (www.jkssb.nic.in) for the latest updates on the examinations, as Admit cards will not be sent by post.
