Kashmir University 2-year M Sc Biotechnology Programme Admission Notice 2022

Online Applications are invited from eligible GAT-B qualified candidates for admission to M Sc Bio- technology Programme for the academic session 2022 offered at Department of Bio-technology, University of Kashmir. Admission to the Programme shall be governed by the DBT Regulation

Eligibility:

Should   have   passed,   Bachelor’s   degree   under   10+2+3   pattern   in   Physical,   and   Biological Sciences OR Bachelors degree in Agricultural, Veterinary and Fishery Science, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS  from  the  University  of  Kashmir  or  any other Institute recognized by UGC with at least 55%  marks in  aggregate for  Open  Merit  and 50% marks for reserved categories by or before 23-06-2022.

Admission Criteria:

Candidates shall be admitted to the programme on the basis of GAT-B score 2022.

  • Submission of Online Application Forms:

Submission of downloaded Application Forms (Hard copy):

After submitting the Online Application Form, candidate need not to  submit  the  downloaded Form (hard copy) but should retain with themselves for future reference.

Verification of documents/certificates:

  • Department of Biotechnology will check/verify the educational/category certificates etc. of the candidates at the time of  admission  and  it  will  be  the  sole  responsibility  of  the  candidate  to satisfy whether he/she is meeting the prescribed criterion.
    • The selection of the candidate will be rejected if it is found that the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has misrepresented/suppressed the information.
