Lolab Youth Cracks KAS Exam

Kupwara: In a major examination feat, a Lolab youth has cracked prestigious KAS exam securing 72 rank.

Dr Peerzada Rasikh, son of Peerzada Ab Hameed Shah originally from Sonnar Darpora Lolab has brought laurels to the entire valley after qualifying Kashmir Administrative Service examination. He has received his basic education from Anwar Memorial Public School Lalpora Lolab and then went to Govt Boys Hr Sec School Sogam Lolab for further studies. After completing his basic education, he has done BDS from Kanpur University in 2020. He said that he has cracked this prestigious exam in ist attempt without having any professional coaching.

Rasikh said that his joy knew no bounds when he saw his name in the selection list on thursday. He said that his dream has finally come true today.

“It’s all about consistency, to learn from the past errors. We have to believe in the process rather than in the results”, Rasikh told over phone.

While replying to a series of questions, he asked the new entertains who are going to appear in the civil services examination should follow the syllabus of NCERT and should read basic books. He directed them to limit their source of education as it has well-defined syllabus”,

“I would like to extend my heartfelt greetings to my parents including my beloved father, who guided and encouraged me from time to time. My father is “inspiration” behind my grand success”, adding ” The teachers who played a pivotal role throughout my career including Ab Rehman Unto,Nazir Ahma Najar, Peer Fareed Ahmad and Khazir Mohammad”,.

“The mini-valley of Lolab is endowed with scenic beauty but being far from the capital -city Srinagar and its home district headquarters, life is not thateasy. Obviously in face of deficient facilities it becomes a feat when someone residing there finds a niche for himself or herself in some area of activity. Credo quia impossibilis-i believe because it is impossible. And Rasiq Hamid Shah pursued his goal with this in mind perhaps and qualified JKAS. That is why his success is being celebrated with a visible zeal by one and all here, and i’m one among them. May Allah bestow all that is sweet and graceful upon him and may he prove a torch-bearer for other youngsters here and around! Amen!”, Ab Rehman Unto,one of his inspirational teacher said,

Nazir Ahmed Najar, who used to teach him physics while communicating said that “he got very excited when I heard about his result. I extend my heartiest congratulations to him and his entire family and has prayed for his new heights in time to come”,

Meanwhile many delegations including political parties, different stakeholders, civil societies have extended their heartfelt greetings to the youth for this success.

Former Member of Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir has congratulated & conveyed his best wishes to all the successful candidates of KAS Exam.

He also congratulated- Sharafat Rubani,Aabid Hussain Lone & Dr Peerzada Rasiq Hamid from District Kupwara.

Mir Said, “He is Proud of their achievement & wishes them the best for their future endeavours”, Mir wrote on his social media platform.

Rasik said that his message to the youth of J&K would be that you can achieve any particular goal and can crack any examination if you have the will power. He said that whatever post he will get his sole motive would be to serve people positively and honestly.
