NEET UG Counselling 2021: As per the recent updates, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has begun with the mop-up round choice filling process from today, 11th March 2022. Candidates who have registered for the NEET UG 2021 Mop Up round counselling can fill and submit their choices for their seat allotment now. They can also register for the Mop-Up round if they have not done at mcc.nic.in.
Candidates can fill their choices by 14th March 2022 till 11:59 pm. They must fill their choices carefully as any mistake in choice filling may lead to a seat not desirable by the NEET UG 2021 counselling candidate. Applicants who were unable to secure seats in Round 1 and Round 2 can apply now.
Also, candidates who had to exit the NEET UG counselling 2021 process in round 1 or 2 by not reporting to the allotted seat and candidates who were not allotted a seat at all are eligible to register for the Mop Up round of counselling for NEET-UG 2021.
How to fill Choices for NEET UG Counselling 2021?
The last date to register for the NEET UG counselling 2021 Mop-up round is 14th March. Applicants can follow these simple and easy steps for direct registration without any delays –
- Step 1 – Go to the official website – mcc.nic.in.
- Step 2 – On the Homepage, click on the tab that reads, ‘UG Medical Counselling’.
- Step 3 – Click on ‘Online Registration’ link and sign in to the candidate portal.
- Step 4 – Enter NEET-UG Roll number and password to log in.
- Step 5 – On the dashboard, fill in the choices of subjects and institutions in the order of preference.
- Step 6 – Lock the choices and submit the same.
NEET UG Counselling 2021 Locking of Choices
Choice locking will begin from 14th March 2022 from 4 to 11:59 pm. Once candidates have locked their choices, they cannot be changed or even modified in case a mistake has been made. Mistakes in filling and locking of choices may result in allotment of a seat that is not desirable to the candidate and MCC will not entertain any reason for changing.
As per the official counselling schedule issued by MCC, after the registration and choice filling process ends on 14th March, verification of candidates will take place from 15th to 16th March 2022, followed by processing of seat allotment on 17th and 18th March 2022.
