Odisha NEET Counselling 2022: Eligibility

Candidates will have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria in order to succeed in the Odisha NEET counselling session in the year 2022. All the criteria to prove the eligibility are given below.

1st Criteria – Citizenship Status

  • The candidates must be permanent natives of Odisha OR Children of All India Civil Service officers serving in state of Odisha cadre

2nd Criteria – Age Group

  • The age of the candidate should have 17 years as of 31st December 2022
  • There is no limit of maximum age for any candidate who wants to apply for the counselling session

3rd Criteria – Academic Background

  • The candidate must have passed Class 12 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.
  • The candidate must have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at class 12 for General Candidate (GE), 40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for benchmark disability candidates (PC-GE).
  • The required mark for Physically Challenged candidate of SC/ST category is 40%.

Odisha NEET Counselling 2022: Eligibility Criteria

Entrance Examination: To apply for the counselling of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2022, the candidate must have cleared NEET 2022. Those who have not appeared for/qualified NEET 2022, will not be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Odisha NEET 2022 Reservation: The reservation policy for Odisha NEET counselling is as follows:

  • Scheduled Tribe (ST)12 per cent
  • Scheduled Cast (SC)8 per cent
  • Physically Challenged (PC)3 per cent
  • Ex-Servicemen (ES) 3 per cent

Registration and application process

To participate in the counselling of Odisha NEET 2022, candidates will have to register on the official website of OJEE. Registrations usually follow the announcement of NEET result. The entire application process can be divided into six steps:

  1. Registering online using a valid email ID, phone number and NEET 2022 roll number
  2. Logging in using credentials generated while registering online
  3. Completing the application form for Odisha NEET 2022 counselling
  4. Uploading scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression
  5. Paying the application fee online and submitting the application
  6. Taking a print of the filled Odisha NEET counselling 2022 application form
