PM Modi Declares New Era of Stability in Kashmir as Theatres Run Houseful without Separatist Threats

New Delhi, India – Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, highlighting the newfound sense of normalcy in Srinagar, Kashmir. The Prime Minister noted that after decades, theatres in the region are running houseful and there is no sight of separatists in the Valley.

During his speech, PM Modi took a dig at Rahul Gandhi for hoisting the national flag in Srinagar during the Bharat Jodo Yatra and emphasized his own experience hoisting the tricolour in the region without security in 1992.

The Prime Minister stated that those who feared hoisting the national flag in Srinagar could cause disturbance have themselves undertaken a ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in the region. He added that people are now able to roam freely in the streets of Kashmir, and every household is hoisting the tricolour as a celebration of democracy.

PM Modi concluded his speech by saying that those who have recently visited Jammu and Kashmir must have seen the situation on the ground and how one can now freely travel in the region.
