This directive, instigated by JKSSB recommendation vide No. SSB/Sel/Secy/2023/819-23 dated 18-08-2023, and subsequent Administrative Department (H&ME) communication No: ME-NG/489/2023-02 dated 01-09-2023, signifies the arrival of a cohort of dedicated Junior Pharmacists and Medical Assistants.
GMC Srinagar Selection of candidates for the post of “Junior Assistant Level -4 (25500-81100) (Health and Medical Education Department), Divisional cadre Kashmir advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2021 dated 26-03-2021 under item No. 227. Reference:-Administrative Department letter No. ME-NG/134/2023-02 dated 06-04-2023.

Before proceeding further in the matter, the selected candidates are hereby informed through the medium of this notice to personally report in office of the undersigned within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this notice for submission of the necessary inputs/ documents for processing verification of their Character and antecedents through online mode as per Government order No. 528 JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 21-06- 2021 and Govt. order No. 1003 JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 21-06-2021 issued by General Administrative Department J&K; failure which it shall be presumed that they are not willing to take up appointment as Junior Assistant in Govt. Medical College, Srinagar and shall forfeit the right of appointment without any further notice.
The results of the written tests held on 04.09.2022 for selection/engagement of the candidates as Jr. Grade Nurses, Laboratory Assistants & Jr. Theatre Assistants on academic arrangement basis under SO 364 of 2020, dated: 27.11.2020 are hereby notified in annexure A, B & C respectively to the notification.
On 4th September, 2022 the Govt. Medical College, Srinagar conducted written tests of the candidates for selection/engagement as Jr. Grade Nurses, Laboratory Assistants & Jr. Theatre Assistants on academic arrangement basis under SO 364 of2020, dated: 27.11.2020 in two sessions from 10.30 AM to 12.10 PM and02.30 PM to 04.10 PM. The scanned Question Papers along with respective Answer Keys have been uploaded and is available for Downloading.
GMC Srinagar Admit Card: Government Medical College, Srinagar has released the Admit Cards/Hall tickets for Laboratory Assistant, Junior Grade Nurses & Jr. Theatre Assistants Positions. GMC Srinagar Exam Date is scheduled to be held on 04th of September 2022. Government Medical College & Hospital has released notification for downloading Admit Cards.

It is hereby notified for Information of all those candidates who have applied for engagement as Jr. Grade Nurses, Laboratory Assistants, Jr. Theatre Assistants on academic arrangement basis under SO 364 of 2020, dated: 27.11.2020 in response to this office Notification No. 01-NGS Of 2022, dated:24.03.2022 that their written tests will be held on 04th of September the following venues as per timing shown against each:
On the actual date of examination i.e. 04th September,2022, the candidates shall report .a the respective venues one hour before commencement of examination In each session for the verification of their Identity and carry along the Admit Cards plus any one of the following documents as proof of their identity :
Photo D Card issued .by the Competent Authority or
Driving License, or
(PAN Card/Aadhar Card)
Any type of electronic device, mobile phones, Bluetooth device, earphones books, notebooks, calculators, watches are not allowed inside the venue. Violation, if any, shall be dealt with strictly under law.
No Vehicles shall be allowed inside the examination venues.
Scrupulously follow the instructions given by Supervisory staff at all the stages of the examination.
The Paper shall comprise of (100), Multiple Choice Questions which are to be attempted/completed within 100 minutes
Each question will have four probable answers/options, out of which only one will be correct.
Candidates should mark the correct/most appropriate answer with a blue or black point pen in the OMR Sheet. Use of pencil and Gel Pen is not allowed.
Scratching, overwriting, tick-marks and multiple answers will be considered wrong.
Do not make any unnecessary marks on the OMR Sheet.
Use of whitener, eraser, nails, rubber, blade on the OMR sheet is completely prohibited
