Rescheduling of Document Verification of Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates for Class-IV posts of various Department, (UT, Divisional Cadre Jammu/Kashmir and District Cadres) advertised vide Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020.
The Document Verification of Class IV posts was called off/postponed due to deployment of all Officers and majority of other functionaries for the conduct of Computer Based Written Test (CBT) relating to 1200 posts of Health and Medical Education Department w.e.f 17-08-2021 to 25-08-2021. To complete the Document Verification in respect of Class IV posts, it has been deemed expedient to resume the said process.
Accordingly, it is hereby informed to the candidates whose Document Verification has been postponed vide this office notice issued under endorsement Nos. SSB/COE/Class IV/2021/ 5484-92 Dated 12.08.2021 for Various Cadres Posts of Class IV (Various Departments), Advertised Vide Advertisement Notice No 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020, is hereby re-scheduled and shall now be conducted w.e.f 28th of August 2021 onwards as per Annexure “A” (Jammu Division Candidates) and “B” (Kashmir Division Candidates).
However, other terms and conditions as laid down in the Documents Verification notice issued vide this office notice issued under endorsement Nos SSB/Secy/ClassIV/2021/4832-39 dated 07-07-2021 shall remain the same.
Central Administrative Tribunal Jammu bench issued a Judgment that read, Stand of General Administration Department and JKSSB upheld by the judgment of Hon’ble CAT dated 28.07.2021. Maximum prescribed qualification for Class-IV posts to be 10+2 as provided in the Advt. Notification No. 01 of 2020.
So basically, The maximum qualification required for JKSSB Class IV posts is 12th only and anyone having/claiming above qualifications then 12th is not eligible for the said posts.

Documents Required during Class IV verification process
All such candidates who were provisionally shortlisted for District Cadre Posts of Class IV in various Departments of J&K are hereby informed to appear for Document Verification before the designated Document Verification Committee(s) as per the date and venue showed against each, at 10.30 AM sharp. (Exact dates for document verification will be issued very soon).
The said candidates are required to appear before the Document Verification A committee with the following documents in original, and
Copy of Online Application form.
D.O.B Certificate.
Reservation category certificate, if applicable.
Domicile Certificate.
Discharge Certificate, along with PPO number and Ex-Serviceman Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Certificate issued by the Competent Authority,
Other documents as per the advertisement.
Bonafide certificate on the format prescribed by the Board duly issued by the Controller /Principal of the concerned school in respect of candidates, who have obtained degrees from the school/board outside the State of J&K.
The candidates has to produce an Online Application Form as well as original documents together with a self-attested photocopy of each document/ certificate on the day of document verification.
About Exam:
Candidates who applied for the Vacancies of Class- IV Posts announced by the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB) gave their Exam successfully. The Exam was of Objective Type and it consists of Multiple Choices Questions (MCQ) only, the exam was conducted for the Maximum of 100 Marks and the time allowed for this Exam was of 2 hours, and there was a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
On the basis of JKSSB Class IV Shortlist candidates can check their possibility to get a seat in any district or division of Jammu and Kashmir UT.
Candidates who applied for the Vacancies of Class-IV conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board gave their Exam Successfully in 2021. The Exam was of Written Type/ MCQ.
Total Marks for this Exam were 100. The time allocated for this Exam is 2 hours.

JKSSB Class IV Result Date
The JKSSB Recruiting agency has declared the most awaited Class 4th Result on 25 May 2021, Candidates need to check their marks and the Category wise Rank in the Provided Gazette.
Candidates have been assigned their respective district/division as selected by them as per their Rank and Marks in the written test.
Qualifications required for JKSSB Class 4 Posts
Class-IV: Matric and 10+2 Pass, candidates who has successfully passed their 10th(Matric) or 10+2 from any recognized board is eligible for Class-IV posts.
Candidates Possessing above qualifications than 12th are not eligible for the said class iv posts.
After verification of documents all those students with above qualifications, their nomination for the pots will be rejected.
Whereas only qualified candidates with 10th as minimum and 12th as maximum qualification will get the Job Letter by JKSSB.
Graduates eligible or not eligible for class IV posts
JKSSB Advertises 8575 Class 4th Vacancies on 26.6.2020 for UT, Division, District
and has kept minimum 10th and maximum 12th qualifications for these 8575 posts.
Thousands of Graduates have applied for Class IV posts even knowing the fact that eligibility criteria is 10th and 10+2.
Meanwhile a Group a graduates association challenged the eligibility criteria in J&K High Court after filing a petition.
Also, JKSSB has clearly mentioned that Any candidate having his/her qualification other than prescribed shall not be eligible for Class IV posts.
In the latest interview given to Media personals JKSSB chairman Khalid Jahangir has clearly said:
That any Student having Above qualification than 12th will not get job.
Furthermore JKSSB will make sure that these candidates will get verified at the time of counselling.
