Document Verification of candidates for Class-IV posts under the Provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment Rules 2020) for filling up of leftover vacancies-2nd phase thereof.
Whereas, the minimum and the maximum qualification for appointment to Class-IV posts under direct recruitment shall be “Minimum Matric and maximum 10+2”.
Now, therefore, in the light of the advice furnished by the General Administration Department, it has been decided by the Board to proceed further in the matter and accordingly a list of 15223 candidates in the 2nd phase of document verification (Jammu/Kashmir based candidates) who are to be considered for filling up of leftover vacancies and issuance of waiting list is hereby notified as Annexure “A” to this Notification.
The document verification of the candidates figuring in Annexure A to this notification shall be held w.e.f 17.02.2022. However, the detailed document verification schedule shall be notified separately.
Further, it is also notified that the Board if considered expedient, may call additional candidates wherever required, for filling all the advertised posts, subject to the conditions laid in the rules and opinion rendered by the General Administration Department vide communication ibid.

JKSSB has completed the Counselling and Joining process of 5091 candidates out of total 8575 posts for Class IV in different departments of Jammu and Kashmir.
JKSSB has prepared the 2nd Shortlist of Class IV candidates for 3484 vacant seats.
The shortlist has been forwarded to the JKGAD (Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department), the JKGAD officials will examine the shortlist and identify the posting places.
JKSSB released the first Shortlist for Class IV posts in September 2021, whereas the 1st selection list was figuring 5091 candidates, whereas JKSSB had advertised exact 8575 total posts via advertisement No 1 of 2020.

Re-scheduling of Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadrex Clerk, Casher, Jr.Assistant/Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, 22.01.2022- regarding.
Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has scheduled Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadrex Clerk, Casher, Jr. Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, UT Cadre, Divisional Cadres and various Districts, advertised vide Advertisement Notification Nos 04, 05, 06 and 07 of 2020 and 01, 02 and 03 of 2021 from 20th to 22nd January, 2022 at 18 venues in Jammu as well as Kashmir Division; and,
Whereas, due to surge in COVID-19 cases across the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and rapidly changing circumstances/ health considerations, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has imposed complete restrictions on non-essential movement for COVID containment during weekends across all districts in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
Now, therefore, in view of the above, the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Junior Assistant, Cadrex Clerk, Casher, Jr. Assistant /Computer-cum-Jr. Assistant/ Clerk/Store Attendant and Welfare Organizer, scheduled to be held on 22.01.2022 (Saturday), is hereby rescheduled and shall now be held on 24.01.2022 (Monday).
Result/Score Sheet of candidates in Computer Based Written Test (CBT) Examination for the posts of Jr. Engineer (Civil) conducted from 27.10.2021 to 02.11.2021.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board will call candidates falling in the consideration zone, based on the merit obtained by them for document verification. The schedule for Document Verification shall be notified separately.
Any candidate desirous of making representation with regard to position assigned to him/her in the score sheet, may do so by or before 15th of January 2022, through e-mail on official email address ssbjkgrievance@gmail.com. Such representation shall be disposed of in accordance with the extant Rules.
Computer Based Written Test (CBT) for the post of Draftsman (Mechanical), UT Cadre, Item No 133, advertised vide Advertisement vide Notification No 05 of 2020-regarding.
The J&K Services Selection Board vide notification No. SSB/COE/CBT-VI/2021/9242-53 dated 31-12-2021, informed the concerned candidates that the examination for various categories of posts including Draftsman (Mechanical), UT Cadre advertised vide various Notifications, shall be held w.e.f 10-01-20212 onwards.
Accordingly, it is hereby notified for information of all candidates that the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination in respect of Draftsman (Mechanical), UT Cadre, Item No 133, advertised vide Advertisement vide Notification No 05 of 2020, has been scheduled on 18-01-2022.
It is also notified for the information of candidates that the Admit Cards for the said post shall be available for downloading from today i.e 10th of January, 2021 onwards from the J&K official website (www.jkssb.nic.in). The Candidates can get access to the Admit Cards from main homepage (Admit Card/Hall Ticket for Computer Based Test (CBT) for the post of Draftsman (Mechanical), UT Cadre, Item No 133, advertised vide Advertisement vide Notification No 05 of 2020) by entering his/her application form number and Date of Birth.
Any candidate who does not find his/her Admit Card must represent in the Central Office of the J&K Services Selection Board, Hema Complex, Sector -3, Channi Himmat, Jammu or Camp Office of the J&K Services Selection Board, Zum Zum Building, Rambagh, Srinagar with evidence in support of his/her claim, by or before 14-01-2022.
The candidature of all candidates appearing in the aforesaid CBT shall be purely provisional.
The candidature of candidates claiming eligibility by misrepresentation concealment of any material facts, impersonation, fraud, etc shall be liable for cancellation and disciplinary action as deemed appropriate.
The Board reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage at which he/she is found ineligible
