JKSSB Chemist Selection List 2024 OUT, Download PDF

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently announced the Final Selection List for the post of Chemist, Divisional Cadre, Jammu, as per Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, under Item No. 125. This significant update brings clarity to the recruitment process, leaving candidates eager to know more.

Release of the Final Selection List for the Chemist post

The journey began with the Finance Department’s requisition (Indent No. FD/Coord/08/2020 dated 20.11.2020) for direct recruitment of a Chemist. The required qualification included a Graduation degree and a Diploma in Industrial Fermentation & Alcohol Technology from a recognized institute. The JKSSB then advertised the position, seeking applications from eligible candidates.

The Examination Phase

When was the OMR based written Examination conducted, and what followed?

The OMR based written Examination for the Chemist post took place on 24.12.2023. Subsequently, the Result/Score-sheet of the candidates was notified (No. JKSSB/COEOEXAM(UT)/99/2023-03(7361997) dated 29.12.2023). The next steps involved the schedule of Documents Verification (DV) and Supplementary DV for candidates in the consideration zone.

Selection Committee and Provisional Selection List

In response to the process, the Board constituted a Selection Committee via Office Order No. 03-SSB of 2024. This committee prepared the Provisional Selection List based on merit/eligibility and existing rules. The Board approved this list at its 253rd meeting on 05.01.2024. The Provisional Selection List was subsequently notified (No. JKSSB SDOSECY(UMU)/5/2024-03(E-7381493) dated 10.01.2024), inviting objections from candidates.

Final Decision and Notification

The Board, during its 256th Meeting on 23.01.2024, approved the proposal to notify the Final Selection List for the Chemist post in the Finance Department. The official notification (as per Annexure-A) followed, highlighting the selection for the advertised post under Notification No. 04 of 2020 dated 16.12.2020, Item No. 125.

Declaration Authenticity: The selection is based on the candidate’s self-declaration and certificates. If any false information or use of fake documents is discovered at any stage, the selection is liable for cancellation.
