The concerned Colleges shall keep their admission counters open even on holidays/ off days and designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates in the process of admission. However, the candidates should, in their own interest, avoid waiting for the last day to complete the admission formalities as such delay has the potential of causing hardships to the candidates only.

The Colleges shall submit the shortfall, if any, by 29th of November, 2022 upto 05.00 P.M. positively to enable the Board to take further necessary action in the matter.

NEET UG 2023 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the exam date for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET 2023). NEET UG Counselling 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee has started the NEET UG Counselling 2022 Round 2 choice filling. The candidates can now check and file the form by visiting the official website of MCC i.e. mcc.nic.in. The process commenced today and will continue till November 8, 2022.

The verification of internal candidates by the respective Universities/ Institutes can be done from November 7 to November 8, 2022, according to the official notice released by the committee.  The processing of seat allotment will be done from November 9 to 10, 2022. Seat allotment result will be announced on November 11, 2022.

NEET UG 2022 Counselling Round 2 Registration at mcc.nic.in: The second round of registration for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test -Undergraduate (NEET-UG 2022) counselling is all set to begin from November 02, 2022. Eligible candidates can apply for the round 2 counselling by visiting the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee(MCC) at mcc.nic.in. The last date to register is November 07. The payment facility will be available till November 07 (03:00 PM). Those who register during this period can fill and lock their choices between November 03 to November 08 (11:55 PM).

Earlier today, MCC had released a notice in regards to the Round 1 NEET UG 2022 Counselling. The committee had asked the candidates can resign from their seat of Round 1 till November 1, 2022 up to 5:00 PM after which they will be considered as part of Round 2 of NEET counselling. “In reference to Round-1 of UG Counselling 2022, Reporting is scheduled to end on 28th October, 2022. It is for information that candidates can resign the seat of Round-1 till 05:00 P.M of 1st November, 2022 after which they will be considered as part of Round-2 and same rules will apply on them as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling,” MCC in an official notification said.

Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2022 Seat Distribution List for Private Colleges

Kerala NEET 2022: The Directorate of Medical Education, Kerala has released the seat distribution list for private colleges for Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2022. The candidates can check the seat matrix of MBBS/ BDS courses on the official site of CEE Kerala at cee.kerala.gov.in. The candidates must note that the seat matrix has been released for self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges for the academic year 2022-23 for Government approval.

As per the recently released seat matrix of self-financed colleges, a total of 2400 seats are available for MBBS courses and 1620 seats are available for BDS courses in the state.

The government had examined the matter in detail and have approved the seat matrix of MBBS/BDS courses in respect of the self-financing Medical /Dental colleges for the academic year 2022-23.

NEET PG 2022 Counselling Latest Update: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the provisional result for round 2 of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) counselling today, October 19, 2022. All those candidates who have registered for the NEET PG 2022 counselling process can check and download the NEET PG Round 2 provisional result by logging into the official website at mcc.nic.in.

“Any discrepancy in the result may immediately be informed to MCC of DGHS upto 07:00 PM of 18.10.2022 through email on the Email id: mccresultquery@gmail.com after which the Provisional Result will be treated as ‘Final’,” MCC in an official notification said. NEET UG 2022 Academic Calendar issued by NMC

NEET UG 2022 Academic Calendar Latest Update: For the medical aspirants, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has released the academic calendar for the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme. According to the NMC’s academic calendar 2022-23, the classes for first-year MBBS batch will be conducted between November 15, 2022 and December 15, 2023. In this time, the medical students will be taught Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry in the first year of the professional course. And the second year of MBBS programme will start on December 16, 2023. The students can get the detailed schedule and guidelines on the official website — nmc.org.in.

The NMC in the calendar said the duration of first and second year MBBS batches is 13 months each and added that affiliated universities of the respective colleges can arrange the vacations and examination schedules as per their academic sessions.

Apart from this, the NMC also issued several guidelines for medical colleges and universities while drafting the academic calendars.

In the meantime, the NMC also instructed universities to conduct supplementary exams with a gap of one month from the regular exams and said the results will be declared within 15 days.

The NMC further stated that there will be no supplementary batches and Yoga, family adoption program through village outreach will continue as for 2021-22 batch.

The NMC said the total duration of the MBBS course is 66 months And during the first 13 months – starting from November 15, 2022, to December 15, 2023 – students will be taught Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. And for the next 13 months — from December 16, 2023, to January 15, 2025, the students would require to study Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology.

However, for the third year — which will be of 10.5 months — there will be lectures on Medicine and Toxicology and Community Medicine/PSM.

The NMC said the fourth year will be of 17.5 months and during this period starting from December 2025 to May 2027, the candidates will learn – General Surgery, General Medicine, Pediatrics, and Ob. Gy, ENT, Ophthalmology.
