The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants  Commission (UGC)  with the task of conducting UGC- NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’  and  ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC – NET June 2023 for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Important Instructions:

  • Candidates can apply for UGC  – NET June 2023 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.

UGC NET Eligibility 2023

To apply for UGC NET June 2023, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age limit, and educational qualification.

  • Indian Nationals along with the citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet are eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerk exam
  • Candidates applying for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) must not be more than 31 years. There is no maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Professor

UGC NET Educational Qualification 2023

The educational qualification for the UGC NET exam has been given below for the aspirants:

  • Candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree exams. A relaxation of five per cent is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category. Therefore, candidates from reserved categories require only 50 per cent aggregate marks in their master’s degree exams.

UGC NET Application Form Correction facility is provided by NTA after the conclusion of the application process.

  • The application form correction facility is available in online mode only at the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Candidates will be selected for Assistant Professor and JRF on the basis of their performance in the UGC NET exam. After the declaration of result, no further rounds will be organized for selection of candidates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared CSIR UGC NET results 2022 on Saturday. Candidates who have appeared for Joint CSIR UGC NET Examination can check their results at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET Admit Card 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday issued UGC NET Admit Card 2022 for the candidates whose exams are scheduled on 8 and 10 October for the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) Phase-IV. The candidates can download UGC NET Admit Card 2022 on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The candidates must note that the UGC NET examination will be conducted on October 8 for the Computer Science and Applications paper, and in the second shift for Economics, Rural Economics, Co-operation, Demography, Development Planning, Development Studies, Econometrics, Applied Economics, Development Economics, and Business Economics. UGC NET Reservation Policy

The UGC NET is subject to the Government of India’s reservation policy as well. According to the reservation policy, 10% of seats are set aside in Central Universities and Institutions that are considered to be Universities for the General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), 15% are set aside for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 7.5% are set aside for the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 27% are set aside for the Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer (OBC-NCL).

UGC NET Phase 2 Exam Latest News: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) phase 2 examination from September 20, 2022. Candidates planning to appear for the competitive exam can download the UGC NET Admit Card 2022 by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The Phase 2 examination will be conducted across the country at various exam centres between September 20 to September 30, 2022, for 64 subjects.

  • On the homepage, click on the link that reads, “Advance City Intimation Slip Phase – 2.”
  • Enter the login credentials such as the application number, date of birth, and security pin. Now click the submit option.
  • Your UGC NET Phase 2 Exam city slip 2022 will be displayed on the screen.
  • Take a printout of it for future reference.

UGC NET 2022 Latest Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the examination schedule for the UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) phase 3 exam on September 16, 2022. Eligible candidates can check the subject-wise schedule by visiting the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. As per the schedule, NTA will conduct the UGC NET Phase 3 examination on September 23, 29, 30, October 1, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, 2022.

NTA is conducting the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (Merged Cycles) Phase II & Phase III for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
