The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC- NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.

Important Instructions:
Candidates can apply for UGC – NET June 2023 through the “Online” mode only through the website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/. The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.

UGC NET Eligibility 2023
To apply for UGC NET June 2023, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age limit, and educational qualification.
Indian Nationals along with the citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet are eligible to apply for the IBPS Clerk exam

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2023
The UGC NET is conducted in two parts through online computer-based testing (CBT). To pass the exam, candidates are required to clear both papers. UGC NET Educational Qualification 2023
The educational qualification for the UGC NET exam has been given below for the aspirants:
Candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree exams. A relaxation of five per cent is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category. Therefore, candidates from reserved categories require only 50 per cent aggregate marks in their master’s degree exams.
UGC NET Application Correction 2023
UGC NET Application Form Correction facility is provided by NTA after the conclusion of the application process.
The application form correction facility is available in online mode only at the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
An email and SMS are sent to the candidates whose application form requires some rectifications.
Candidates can edit/ correct only certain fields such as name, parents’ name, date of birth, contact address, category, gender, choice of exam centre, scanned photo and signature, etc.

UGC NET 2023 Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected for Assistant Professor and JRF on the basis of their performance in the UGC NET exam. After the declaration of result, no further rounds will be organized for selection of candidates.
Only the successful candidates will be consider for selection. Top 6% of the total candidates will be declared qualify. Candidates have to score minimum marks in both papers to be eligible for the post of JRF and Assistant Professor.

What is the difference between UGC NET exam or CSIR NET exam?

The CSIR UGC NET examinations were held in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode from 16-18 September 2022. The exams were held in two sessions, morning and evening at 306 centres across 166 cities.
This year, a total of 2,21,746 candidates registered for the exam out of which 1,62,084 appeared. Of the 1,62,084 candidates, 67,813 were male candidates, 94,269 were female candidates and two candidates were from the third gender.
A maximum number of candidates appeared for the Life Sciences paper (62,655), followed by chemical sciences (36,374) and mathematical sciences (30,942).
UGC NET 2022 Result Expected Date, Time: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon declare the result and the final answer key for the UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 (merged cycles). Candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, against the answer key till October 24. “The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. UGC NET Admit Card 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday issued UGC NET Admit Card 2022 for the candidates whose exams are scheduled on 8 and 10 October for the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) Phase-IV. UGC NET Reservation Policy
The UGC NET is subject to the Government of India’s reservation policy as well. According to the reservation policy, 10% of seats are set aside in Central Universities and Institutions that are considered to be Universities for the General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS), 15% are set aside for the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 7.5% are set aside for the Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 27% are set aside for the Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer (OBC-NCL).

UGC NET Phase 2 Exam Latest News: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) phase 2 examination from September 20, 2022.
