Teachers forum hails recent decision of Distribution of human resource by principal Secretary SED

Kupwara : Jammu and kashmir Teachers Forum on Wednesday hailed the decision of Principal Secretary School Education department Alok kumar through which there will be judicious distribution of human resources at cluster level.

The order vide No 2173 edu of 2022 reads that there will be a committee comprising of principal of the cluster, one faculty member from DIET and concerned ZEO to make the proper rationalization of teaching staff within the cluster to improve the educational standards.

Teachers Forum Chairman Mohammad Amin Khan said that this is the welcome step but the committee should take care of every school as per the need of students, he said we will not allow the pick and chose policy.

Khan said that as per NEP 2020 special focus should be given on foundational and elementary classes.Teachers Forum stand with the concern showed by District president JKTF Baramullah Ishfaq Ahmad Shah who rightly expressed his concern for the large intrest of students and dignity of Teachers.

They said, “Teachers forum is thankful to Principal Secretary school education that he redressed various issues which Teachers forum brought in his notice in the last meeting.”

The Forum thanked Principal Secretary School Education for filling up the vacant posts of Chief Education Officers of different district, and hoped that all the DIETs will be equiped with principals at an earliest so that the DIETs will carry the programme of Teacher education and othe related components of NEP 2020.

Forum requests the authorities to fill up the post of joint Director North Kashmir which is lying vacant from past so many months.

In a meeting Teachers forum decided to support the move for the restoration of old pension scheme and requests all the heads of Trade unions to struggle jointly for OPS.

Teachers Forum will provide every support for this human issue.
