UGC NET Result 2021 expected to release in February, ugcnet.nta.nic.in

UGC National Eligibility Test, UGC NET 2021 Result is likely to be released in February. As per the sources the result is expected in mid February but there is no official confirmation. Check minimum qualifying marks needed to qualify the exam and get eligible for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship or both.

UGC has already released the UGC NET 2020 answer keys and candidates’ responses on the official website. UGC NET 2020 result will be based on the final answer keys which will be prepared on the basis of objections raised by the candidates on the provisional answer key.

UGC NET 2021: Qualifying Criteria/Eligibility

Candidates who appeared for UGC NET 2020 December session must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General  /General-EWS category candidates. For reserved candidates, the minimum marks criteria stands at minimum 35% aggregate marks in both the papers.

UGC NET 2020-21 Cut-Off

As per the UGC NET information brochure, National Testing Agency, NTA calculates the UGC NET Cut Off 2021 based on the following factors 

  1. Number of candidates appeared for the examination .
  2. UGC NET question paper’s difficulty level
  3. Previous year’s UGC NET cut off trends

National Testing Agency, NTA conducted the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 examination in three phases. Phase 1 was conducted between November 20, 2021 and December 5, 2021. Phase 2 was conducted between December 24, 2021 and December 27, 2021 and Phase 3 on January 4 and 6.
