Pursuant to Notification No. 141-BOPEE of 2023 dated 22.12.2023, the Mop-up Round of Counselling (Physical) for upgradation/allotment of seats was conducted on 27.12.2023 for admission to B. Pharmacy Course-2023 in various Government/Private Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K at BOPEE Office Srinagar/Jammu simultaneously. The list of candidates who have participated in the said round of counselling and have been Upgraded/Selected Provisionally as per their Merit/Preferences for admission to the said Course in various Government/Private, Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K, is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this notification which shall remain available on the website of the Board viz. www.jkbopee.gov.in only.
What is the Mop-up Round of Counselling?
The Mop-up Round of Counselling is the final opportunity for candidates to secure admission to the B. Pharmacy Course-2023. This round involves the upgradation/allotment of seats based on merit and preferences.
How Can I Check If I’m Selected?
The list of provisionally selected candidates is available in Annexure-A to the notification. You can download the PDF from the official website www.jkbopee.gov.in. Ensure to check your name and roll number carefully.
What Documents Do I Need for Admission?
Provisionally selected candidates are required to report to their respective allotted Colleges/Institutions by 31st December 2023, 04:00 p.m. Along with reporting, candidates must bring the following documents:
- Domicile Certificate
- 12th Class Marks Card
- D.O.B Certificate issued by the Board
- Any other document required by the college/institution at the time of admission
Is Admission Guaranteed?
The admission of candidates is purely provisional and may be canceled if any information furnished by a candidate proves to be false or fabricated. Legal actions will be initiated against such candidates.
What Happens If I Conceal Information?
If any candidate is found to have concealed information, their selection/admission will be canceled ab-initio, and fines/penalties may be imposed as deemed proper by the Board.
What is the Deadline for Admission?
Provisionally upgraded/selected candidates must report for admission to the allotted Colleges/Institutions by 31.12.2023, 4:00 p.m. positively along with their relevant certificates/documents in original.
What If I Fail to Complete Admission Formalities on Time?
Candidates are advised to avoid waiting until the last day for completing admission formalities, as delays may cause hardships. The concerned Heads of Colleges/Institutions are requested to keep admission counters open on holidays/off-days.
Any Special Instructions for Colleges/Institutions?
Heads of concerned Colleges/Institutions are advised to check and verify the documents and eligibility of provisionally selected candidates before allowing them to join. It is their responsibility to send the shortfalls, if any, by 31.12.2023, 05:00 p.m. positively.
What About Reserved Category Admissions?
Management of all concerned Colleges/Institutions is implored to ensure the veracity of documents, particularly the category certificates wherever admission is to be granted in lieu of Reserved Category.
Refund of Fee for Upgraded Candidates
Heads of Colleges/Institutions are advised to release documents and refund the fee in favor of candidates who have been upgraded during the Mop-up Round of Physical Counselling. This enables them to complete their admission formalities without delay.
