Mridul Agarwal, who appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE) Advanced from the IIT Delhi zone, is the all-India topper of the entrance examination this year. JEE Advanced 2021 result has been announced at jeeadv.ac.in. The exam was conducted on October 3.
This is the highest ever scored by a student in the JEE Advanced examination since 2011.

Mridul’s father, Pradeep Agarwal, is a Finance Head in a private company, and his mother, Puja Agarwal is a homemaker. His younger brother is in seventh grade.
Mridul Agarwal’s Stretegy for cracking JEE Advanced
As for Mridul, he developed a penchant for Physics and Chemistry and decided to pursue the subject. Always a meritorious student, Mridul was keen on cracking the IIT-JEE exam and finding a place in IIT Bombay. He scored 98.2% in his Class 10 and Class 12 CBSE Board Exams.
On his journey to achieve success, Mridul would spend about 12 – 14 hours a day. This included the coaching as well as 6 to 8 hours of self-study. Committed to crack the entrance, he had joined Allen Career Institute’s 4-year classroom program in Class 9 and has been consistent in his preparation throughout.
When the pandemic struck, Mridul used the extra time and opportunity to increase his preparation. He shared that he increased the time to study and was glad of the extra time available. The online classes also helped and interacting with other students helped him clear his doubts.
Mridul wants to pursue Computer Science Engineering from IIT Bombay and start his own start-up once he graduates. For his success, he gives equal credit to his family and teachers. His mother was his constant source of motivation throughout the year and through tough times. When he is not studying, he enjoys watching movies.
