Suban Kumar Mishra Tops GATE 2023 Exam with AIR 1

Suban Kumar Mishra, a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur, has topped the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 with an All India Rank (AIR) of 1. The results for GATE 2023 were declared by IIT Kanpur on 16th March 2023, and Mishra’s remarkable achievement has made him an inspiration to aspiring engineers all over the country.

Mishra’s journey to the top of GATE 2023 has not been an easy one. After graduating from IIT Kanpur in 2016, he joined OLA cabs as a business analyst and worked there for approximately 3.5 years. However, his passion for engineering never waned, and he decided to attempt GATE for the third time in 2023.

GATE is one of the most competitive exams in India, and it tests a student’s understanding of various engineering concepts, mathematical skills, and analytical abilities. CHECK GATE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Eligibility Criteria: A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible to appear for GATE 2023 examination.

GATE 2023 Registration Latest News: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur will end the registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 on September 30, 2022. Check Steps To Fill GATE Application Form 2023

Interested candidates can fill up the GATE 2023 registration form by following the steps as given below.

Go to the official website– gate.iitk.ac.in.
On the homepage, click on the login option.
If you are a new user then register yourself on the portal.
Register by filling in personal details and contact addresses.
After registration, log in using the system-generated ID and password.
Fill up the GATE 2023 application form.
Upload the required documents.
Pay the application fee online.
Submit the GATE 2023 Application form by paying the application fee.
Download the GATE 2023 application form and take a printout of it for future reference.

GATE 2023 Application Form NOTE: The photograph, signature, category certificate (SC / ST / PwD) and / or Dyslexic certificate, wherever applicable, must be uploaded during the online application. Candidates MUST enter the valid photo identity (ID) number specified in any one of the following IDs: Aadhaar-UID (preferable), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, and Driving License. Candidate MUST produce the SAME original valid photo ID proof during the examination for verification purposes.

GATE 2023 Score Card Validity

GATE 2023 score card will remain valid for THREE years from the date of announcement of results.

GATE Exam Pattern

GATE 2023 will be conducted for 29 papers. All Test Papers of GATE 2023 examinations will be entirely of objective type. The pattern of questions will include some Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ), while the remaining questions may include Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and/or Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions A candidate is allowed to appear for ONE or maximum TWO subject papers only. TWO Paper combinations have to be chosen from the given list of combinations of papers. Final allotment of TWO papers will still be subject to availability of infrastructure and dates.

GATE 2023 Mode of Examination

GATE 2023 will be a computer-based test (CBT) which is being organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The exam will be conducted by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee), on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI).

GATE 2023 Application Correction Window, IIT Kanpur Issues Notice For Students

GATE 2023 Application Correction Window: The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Kanpur, on Wednesday released an important notice for students regarding the on-going Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2023 registration portal.

After some of the students raised concerns, IIT Kanpur shared that the rectification portal at the GATE 2023 application window is at present facing some issues and the authorities confirmed that the correction window or rectification portal has some issues which are being worked upon. IIT Kanpur asked the candidates not to panic and not to submit any fresh applications.

“Please note that you will have two more weeks to rectify the errors, after the application window closes, i.e until 20th Oct. Also note that you need not submit new application for the defects in your application,” IIT Kanpur said in the notice on the website.

The GATE 2023 candidates should note that the registration window to apply for the examination will remain open till October 7, 2022. Moreover, the GATE 2023 registration without any additional late fee can be made till September 30, 2022. And after that, another week’s extended time would be given to candidates, but late fee charges would apply.

After the registration closes, the GATE 2023 correction window would be opened and then the candidates would get an option to make changes and even opt for change in examination city. IIT Kanpur said the correction window would remain open till October 20.

The candidates need to note that GATE 2023 exam is scheduled for the month of February 2023 and the admit cards for the same would be released on January 3, 2022 on gate.iitk.ac.in.

The candidates who are interested in appearing for the examination must apply and complete the application process at the earliest.

For the general information of the students, the GATE score is valid for a period of 5 years, those who wish to apply for GATE based recruitments must note that they need to appear for that year’s examination.

GATE 2023: Registration for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 will begin on August 30, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, the organizing institute of the test, said. The exam will take place in February next year.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur has released the score card of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2022) on March 21. Candidates who have appeared in the examination can check their result on the official website of GATE at gate.iitkgp.ac.in. The GATE 2022 result was announced on March 17.

Candidates can access their GATE 2022 scorecards through their enrolment ID or email address and password. GATE 2022 was held on the 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th of February. On February 21, the tentative answer keys were released, and objections were accepted till February 25.

NIT Srinagar Student, Mohit Paditar Tops GATE 2022 Entrance Exam

Srinagar: A B.Tech student from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar, has topped Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE ) 2022.

Mohit Patidar, a B.Tech student from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MME) Department secured all India first rank (AIR-1) in GATE 2022

Ayush Kumar Mall from Information Technology (IT) Department secured AIR-94 whereas Maasil Ahmad Wani from Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) secured AIR-255.

Aman Kumar Meena from Chemical Engineering (CE) department obtained AIR-147 and Vishal Ballavadiya from Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department got AIR-191.

Mohammad Sahil Hussain, Ashutosh Kumar Yadav, and Himanshu Singh Singholiya from the MME department had also secured AIR-74, AIR-102, and AIR-174 respectively.

The qualified students comprise 28 students of Civil Engineering, 21 in Electrical Engineering, 16 from the Electronics and Communications Department.

GATE 2022: NIT Srinagar student secures All India Rank 1; 109 others also qualify for Gate 2022 Exam

14 in Mechanical Engineering, 10 of Chemical Engineering Department, 8 from Information Technology, 7 from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, and two students from Computer Science and Engineering Departments have qualified the GATE exams.

Director NIT Srinagar, Prof. (Dr). Rakesh Sehgal extended warm greetings to the qualifiers and congratulated them for qualifying prestigious GATE exam.

“The faculty in NIT is working for the students. They will not leave any stone unturned for the overall development of students. It is a proud movement for the NIT Srinagar and we will continue this dedication in the future also,” he said.

Prof. Sehgal urged students to make the best possible use of available resources. He also appreciated the tireless effort of faculty members including Dr. Obbu Chandrasekhar, Head, Department of Training and Placements for organized GATE-2022 coaching classes.

“Despite COVID-19 challenges, NIT Srinagar did not allow students to suffer academics. We taught students online as well as offline classes,” he said.

Registrar NIT Srinagar, Prof. Kaiser Bukhari also extended warm greetings to GATE qualifiers and urged them to work hard to achieve success.

“It is a proud movement for the institute. There is no second option to hard work. I advise them to serve the society dedicatedly and selflessly,” he said.

Earlier Department of Training and Placement, NIT Srinagar had organized GATE-2022 coaching classes for final and pre-final year students (2018 and 2019 admitted batches).

Head, Department of Training and Placements, Dr. Obbu Chandrasekhar, congratulated the whole NIT Srinagar fraternity, especially the qualifying students on their momentous achievement.

He also expressed his gratitude to Director NIT Srinagar, Prof. Sehgal for his constant support and also thanked Prof. M.F. Wani, TEQIP-III Coordinator for providing the necessary funds to engage the GATE coaching classes for students.

Dr. Obbu Chandrasekhar said 180 students from NIT Srinagar had registered for GATE coaching classes and promised that they would continue to guide and nurture students for better results in upcoming years.

On Thursday, The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur released the result for the GATE 2022.

A total of 7,11,542 candidates had appeared for gate 2022 of which 1.26,813 have qualified. Among those who cracked the exam, most are men. As many as 98732 male students cleared GATE 2022 and 28081 females cleared the exam.
