Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has recently released the JEE Advanced 2024 syllabus on the JEE Advance’s newly launched official website at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can download the PDF format of the syllabus that has details for all the three subjects, includes physics, chemistry and mathematics.

This year IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for the JEE Advanced 2024 examination and the revised syllabus has only been uploaded It is available on the Link given below here:

The JEE Advanced syllabus has included all the topics which will be part of the JEE Advanced 2024 examination, for which dates are yet to be announced by the National Testing Agency yet. It should be noted that IIT Bombay will be conducting the JEE Advanced Exams this year.

JEE Advanced Subject – Wise Syllabus 2024

As per the syllabus, chemistry’s syllabus is divided into three parts: physical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry. In the paper, students will have some general topics from the physical chemistry stream that they have studied in class 11 and 12. These topics includes, concept of atoms and molecules, dalton’s atomic theory, mole concept, chemical formulae, balanced chemical equations, neutralisation and displacement reactions.

Other topics from the stream are gaseous and liquid States, atomic structure and chemical bonding, energetics, chemical equilibrium, electro chemistry and so on. Further for the inorganic chemistry portion of the paper will include questions on isolation, preparation and properties of various metals and compounds.

Further, definitions and characteristics of 3D series transition elements, ores and minerals and extractive metallurgy are also part of the syllabus. Preparation, properties and reactions of alkanes and alkynes are part of the organic chemistry syllabus along with various other topics.

The syllabus of mathematics is the same as last year, having topics of algebra, matrics, probability, trigonometry, analytical geometry, calculus, and vectors. Six fields of physics are included in the physics syllabus, which are general physics, mechanics, thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will begin the session 2 registration for JEE Main 2023 from today onwards (February 7). Interested candidates can apply for the JEE Main April Session at– jeemain.nta.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the JEE Main session 2 registrations will begin today, February 7, 2023. The last date for registration will be March 7, 2023, till 9 pm. JEE Main Session 2 exam will be conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12, 2023. Session 1 was held from January 24 to February 1, 2023. The result for the same has been released on the official website.

The JEE Main session 2 exams will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The session 2 application process will include basic registrations, application form filling, document uploading, fee payment, and submission of the application form.

JEE Mains 2023 Results: The result of the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 has been announced. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main January Session Result 2023 on the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in. A total of 12 students have scored 100th percentile for the JEE Main Result. Out of these 12 students, 6 students are from Kota. Candidates can now check their scores on jeemain.nta.nic.in. THE NATIONAL Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the notification for the JEE Main 2023 exam next week. According to media reports, the exam notification is expected to be made available by November 30. However, the NTA has not confirmed the exam dates yet. Candidates who want to seek admission in B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan courses in different institutes can apply at — jeemain.nta.nic.in.

According to media reports, NTA is expected to conduct the JEE Main 2023 exam in two sessions. These sessions are likely to be held in January 2023, before the board exams of Class 12 students and then in April 2023, after the board exam season concludes.

Candidates who have cleared their Class 12th examination this year or the previous year can appear for the JEE main 2023 exam. While students appearing for the board exam in 2023 are also eligible to appear in the examination. Approximately 10 lakh students appeared every year for the examination. Many students reapplied to improve their scores. There is no age limit for appearing in JEE main exam.

The JEE Main 2023 exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode. According to the previous year, the syllabus will be divided into three parts for paper 1 B.E and B.Tech including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while the sections for B.Arch and B.Plan will be Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing/Planning. The aspirant’s highest marks from either of the two sessions will be taken into consideration when calculating ranks as per the guidelines. NTA will release the syllabus of JEE Main 2023 soon on the official website.

To get admission in NITs, IITs, and GFTIs Students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75 per cent marks or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam. For SC and ST categories students have to score 65 per cent. While in B.Arch and B.Planning courses candidates have to pass the class 12 exam with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.

Reservation criteria in JEE Main including General EWS categories have 10 per cent reserved seats, OBC NCL categories have 27 per cent reserved seats, while SC and ST categories have 15 and 7.5 per cent respectively. PwD Categories has 5 per cent reservation seats.

JEE Main 2023 Registration Dates at jeemain.nta.nic.in: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE) – Mains 2023 dates soon. According to a leading daily, the JEE Main 2023 registration will commence in the third week of November. Meanwhile, the engineering entrance will be conducted in January and April. Eligible candidates can fill up the JEE Main 2023 Application form by visiting the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 exam pattern for the Btech paper will be held for multiple-choice and numerical questions. The Btech paper (Paper 1) of JEE Mains 2023 will consist of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Going by the previous year’s information bulletin, the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. The general terms and conditions regarding the selection process, eligibility, educational qualification, domicile, Coaching Programs etc are as follows:

Selection shall be based on merit arrived at based on marks in 10th and 12th standard.

Eligibility

1. Qualification Criteria

  • The candidate should have cleared the 12th examination on or before the
    date of issue of this notification.
  • The candidates will be required to upload scanned copy of relevant Certificates such as Mark sheets etc. for completion of 12th standard on or before the date of this notification, failing which the candidature of such candidates shall be rejected.

2. Family Income

  • Only the candidates having total gross family income from all sources not exceeding F8.00 lakh per annum shall be eligible for free coaching under the scheme.
  • The candidate must possess Income Certificate (in original) issued by the Competent Authority/Tehsildar on the format prescribed for the purpose, on or before the date of document verification, to be declared subsequently. The Income Certificate should not be older than 6 months.
  • The income certificate shall be submitted at the time of Document Verification (DV).Keeping in view the time taken for the issuance of family Income certificate, Candidates, without Income Certificate or with older Income Certificates, are advised to immediately apply for fresh Annual Family Income Certificate to the competent Authority/Tehsildar to ensure that they have the requisite certificate issued well in time. No alternate to Annual Family Income Certificate shall be accepted.

3. Domicile

The candidate should be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The candidate must possess Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on the format prescribed for the purpose, on or before the date of date of document verification.

4. Dropper Candidate

The candidate should be a 12th dropper i.e.. passed 12th standard, desirous of appearing in NEET-UG/JEE examination in 2023 and should not have taken admission in any regular undergraduate/diploma course. The candidate shall have to submit an undertaking on account of same during the online application stage.

Selection and Allotment Procedure

  • a. Selection shall only be based on merit arrived at based on marks in 10th and 12th standard.
  • Based on the merit and preliminary scrutiny of documents submitted by candidate online, the provisional merit list of candidates shall be issued. Then, these candidates shall attend physical counselling for document verification and for allotment of institute. The provisionally selected candidates shall have to attend counselling along with original documents, domicile certificate and income certificate.
  • The vacancies arising due to non-attendance/ withdrawal at counselling shall be
    filled from the candidates in the waiting list.
  • Post counselling, the final selection list of the candidates shall be issued.

How to Apply for Free Coaching Scheme?

The selection procedure and application process shall be as under:

  • For applying under PARVAAZ scheme, the candidate shall go the portal of Mission Youth (https://missionyouthjk.in/) and click on Apply for PARVAAZ Scheme (NEET UG/JEE Coaching) under the Notification Section.
  • The candidate shall upload the recent passport size picture in jpeg/jpg format.
  • Then candidate shall fill up the details in the form. For doing so, the candidate shall keep scanned copies of the following document handy:
    • Mark Sheet 12th Standard
    • Mark Sheet 10th Standard
    • Photo-ID Proof
    • Date of Birth Certificate
  • The candidate shall accept the undertaking before submission of form.
  • Application Number shall be issued at the end of application submission.
  • Candidates are advised to preserve the same for future reference.
  • No editing shall be allowed once form is submitted. So, candidates are advised to exercise due caution at the time of form filling.

JEE Advanced 2022 Result Date Time Announced: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will declare the result for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 tomorrow, September 11 at 10:00 AM. Once released, registered candidates can download the JEE Advanced Result 2022 by visiting the official website — jeeadv.ac.in. Along with the JEE Advanced 2022 result, the merit list will be published on the website. The category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates will be available through the JEE (Advanced) 2022 online portal after the results are declared.

This year, the JEE Advanced 2022 examination was held on August 28, 2022. Meanwhile, the JEE Provisional Answer Key was published on September 03, 2022. Candidates were given an opportunity to raise an objection, if any, against the answer key till September 04. The JEE Advanced 2022 final answer keys will be displayed on the website, after considering the candidates’ feedback, as per the schedule. The marks will be awarded in accordance with the final answer key.

To access the JEE Advanced 2022 result, a candidate needs to enter his/her registration number and dates of birth.

Joint Seat Allocation

  • A candidate who secured a rank in JEE (Advanced) 2022 is eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation process. It is to be noted that Candidates whose names are there on the merit list are eligible for the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) counselling process which will be conducted on September 12, 2022.  The JoSAA counselling will be conducted in a total of six rounds, candidates can confirm the allotment result by opting for the freeze, float, and slide options.
  • The seats across IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be offered and allocated through a common process by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), to be held in online mode for the current year. All the candidates who are eligible for admission will have to participate in the joint seat allocation process by filling in their preferential choices of the courses and institutes. JEE Advanced 2022 Admit Card: As the registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 has been closed, the candidates who have successfully applied for the engineering entrance will appear on August 28. The candidates need to carry their admit card at the exam centre, the hall ticket will be available to download on August 23, as per the website.

JEE Advanced 2022 admit card will be available to download between August 23 and 28, candidates can download hall ticket on the website- jeeadv.ac.in. To download JEE Advanced 2022 admit card, candidates need to use their login id and password. JEE Advanced 2022 admit card will be released, download and take a print out for further reference.

As per reports, a total of 1.6 lakh students have applied for JEE Advanced 2022, which includes 50 foreign nationals. JEE Advanced 2022 will be held in two shifts; paper one from 9 am to 12 noon and paper two from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There will be two papers in JEE Advanced 2022, the question papers will be in both English and Hindi languages. Candidates will have the option to switch between the language anytime during the exam.
