NTA Denies Leakage Of UGC NET History Paper Conducted On 10 October 1

UGC-NET Paper Leak: National Testing Agency has released a notification refuting the rumours of a paper leak. As per the notification, NTA has rejected the claims of leakage of History paper of UGC NET.

The testing organisation has “vehemently denied” the leakage of paper as claimed in a few tweets and a YouTube video.

NTA wrote, “This is to bring to the notice of general public that a fake tweet and a YouTube video is circulating on social media regarding leakage of History (06) paper Shift-II, UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycles conducted on 10-10-2022.

NTA vehemently denies this allegation regarding leakage of question paper of History (06) paper Shift-II. It is clarified that there is no leak of question paper.”

The notification also clarified that the format of the question paper was shared after the exam was conducted and was not the same as what was given to the candidates. NTA advised all stakeholders to beware of such information circulating on social media.

NTA began functioning in 2018 and was interested with the task of conducting entrance examination for educational institutions by the Union Council of Ministers.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially postponed the UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exams to September 2022. The University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairperson M Jagadesh Kumar announced about the postponement on Monday, 8 August 2022. Candidates who have registered to appear for the UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 should take note of the new exam dates. They are requested to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) – nta.ac.in – to go through the exam dates.

The UGC NET 2022 Phase 2 exams were earlier scheduled to be held on 12 August 2022 and 14 August 2022. According to the latest information available, the exams have been postponed to 20 September 2022 and 30 September 2022. All the details are available on nta.ac.in for the candidates to take a look at the new exam dates.

How to Challenge the NEET Answer Key

CSIR UGC NET June 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Let’s look at the Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Lectureship (LS) under CSIR UGC NET June 2022 Exam:

Educational Qualification

  • Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS candidates and 50% (without rounding off) for OBC/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates;
  • Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form, are also eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within two years from the date of declaration of Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2022 Test result, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
  • Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/ General-EWS and OBC candidates; 50% marks (without rounding off) for SC/ ST, Third gender, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply. Candidates with Bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D/ Integrated Ph.D program within the validity period of two years. Candidates possessing only Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/ Associate Professor.
  • E/ B.S/ B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/ result awaited candidates are eligible to apply for fellowship only. These candidates will not be eligible for Lectureship/ Assistant professor.
  • Sc. (Hons.) final year/ Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply;
  • The eligibility for lectureship/ Assistant Professor of NET qualified candidates will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC. Ph.D degree holders who have passed Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991 with at least 50% marks (without rounding off) are eligible to apply for Lectureship/ Assistant Professor only.

NTA issues Admit Card to the candidates subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions. requisite application fee due to heavy rush on the last date. UGC has extended the date for applying to 30th May

“In pursuant to representations from the candidates, regarding submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), it has been decided to extend the last date for submission and fee payment to 30 May 2022,” UGC said

Submission of Online Application Form for UGC-NET

The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) with the task of conducting UGC-NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) for ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ and eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ in 82 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

The slots of JRF of both UGC-NET December 2021 & June 2022 cycles have been merged while the methodology for Subject wise cum Category-wise allocation of JRF remain unchanged.

How to Apply Online for UGC NET 2022 Exam?

Let’s have a look at the Step-by-Step Process of filling UGC NET 2022 Online Application Form:

Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA UGC NET

Candidates are required to apply Online through official website of National Testing Agency at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Register as a new user:

Step 3: Fill in the Registration Form

Carefully fill in the Registration Page of the online application form by 20th May 2022Fill in the basic information and note down the system generated Application Number:

  1. Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name:

Provide Candidate’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Father’s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board / University Certificate in capital letters.

Provide Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University certificate.

  1. Mobile Number and e-mail Address:

Provide your own Mobile Number and e-mail address.

Step 4: Fill in the Complete Application Form

Fill in the complete Application Form after thoroughly going through the eligibility criteria for the teaching Posts. Below are some points to remember while filling the Application Form:

a) Other Backward Classes (OBC) –Non Creamy Layer as per the central list of Other Backward Classes available on National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC), Government of India website (www.ncbc.nic.in). Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column. State list OBC Candidates who are not in OBC-NCL (Central List) must choose General.

b) Provide your complete postal address with PIN Code(Mailing Address as well as Permanent Address) for further correspondence. PIN code of Correspondence Address should be given in the space provided for this purpose.

Note: The NTA shall not be responsible for any delay/loss in postal transit or for an incorrect Correspondence address given by the Applicant in the Application Form.

c) Choice of Cities for Examination Centers: The candidate should select any four cities of their choice for examination of UGC NET June 2021.

d) NET Subject: The candidate should select the NET subject to appear from the list of NET Subjects.

e) Subject at Post Graduation level: The candidate should select the Subject at Post Graduation level.

f) Post Graduation Course: The candidate should select the Post Graduation Course.

g) Under no circumstances the choice of cities for Centre and NET subject filled in the application form shall be changed by the NTA.

Step 4: Generation of Password and Login ID

Register for Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the Online Application Form and is also required to create PASSWORD and choose Security Question and enter his/her Answer. After successful submission of the personal details, Application number will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and will also be required for all future correspondence. For subsequent logins, candidate will be able to login directly with the respective system generated Application Number and created Password.

The Password must be as per the following Password policy.

  • Password must be 8 to 13 characters long.
  • Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
  • Password must have at least one numeric value.
  • Password must have at least one special characters e.g.,!@#$%^&*-

Candidates are advised to note down their login id and password for future use.

Step 5: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

The next step is uploading of scanned images. Candidates are required to fill the size and dimensions of photo image are as mentioned below:

PhotographThe photograph should be recent and coloured or black/white (but clear contrast). Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. Note: Passport size photograph is to be used for uploading on Online Application Form and also for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the examination centre.

Signature: The candidates are required to upload the full signature in running hand writing in the appropriate box given in the Online Application Form. Writing full name in the Box in Capital letters would not be accepted as signature and the Application Form would be rejected. The candidate should put his full signature on white paper with Black Ink pen and scan for uploading. File size must be between 4 kb to 30 kb.

Note: Candidate must ensure that the uploaded images are clear and proper. Upload the correct Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction will not be given.

STEP 6: Payment of Application Fee
