The NTA has been entrusted by the University Grants  Commission (UGC)  with the task of conducting UGC- NET, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’  and  ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.

UGC NET Educational Qualification 2023

The educational qualification for the UGC NET exam has been given below for the aspirants:

  • Candidates should have secured at least 55 per cent marks in master’s degree exams. A relaxation of five per cent is given to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC)/Persons with Disability (PwD)/Transgender category. Therefore, candidates from reserved categories require only 50 per cent aggregate marks in their master’s degree exams.

UGC NET 2022 Final Answer Key at ugcnet.nta.nic.in: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the final answer key for the UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 (merged cycles), today November 02, 2022. Eligible candidates can check and download the UGC NET 2022 Final Answer Key by logging into the official website of UGC at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Till now, the Board has not declared UGC NET 2022 Result. The Board officials have not released any date for the declaration of the result.

It is to be noted that the final answer key has been released after taking the objections raised by students against the provisional answer key. The NTA decision on the challenges will be final and the result will be declared on the basis of final answer keys. The examination was held  across the country on July 9, 11, 12, September 20, 21, 22, 23, 29, 30, October 1, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 22, 2022.

UGC NET 2022 Result Expected Date, Time: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon declare the result and the final answer key for the UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 (merged cycles). Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check and download the UGC NET 2022 Result by visiting the official website of UGC at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It is to be noted that the Board officials have not released any date for the declaration of the result.

To access the UGC NET Result 2022, a candidate needs to enter his/her application number, password/date of birth, and security pin. Earlier on October 21, NTA released the UGC NET 2022 provisional answer key, question paper with recorded responses of candidates for the phase 4 examination. Candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, against the answer key till October 24. “The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 24 October 2022 (upto 11.50 P.M.),” reads the official notification.

UGC NET Admit Card 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday issued UGC NET Admit Card 2022 for the candidates whose exams are scheduled on 8 and 10 October for the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) Phase-IV. The candidates can download UGC NET Admit Card 2022 on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The candidates must note that the UGC NET examination will be conducted on October 8 for the Computer Science and Applications paper, and in the second shift for Economics, Rural Economics, Co-operation, Demography, Development Planning, Development Studies, Econometrics, Applied Economics, Development Economics, and Business Economics. However, both shifts of the History paper will be held on October 10.

The candidates who want to access the UGC NET admit card  have to use their application number and date of birth (DoB) on the portal.

“In case of any difficulty in downloading the admit card, candidates may contact the NTA Help Desk at 011-40759000/011-6922770 or write to NTA at ugcnet@nta.ac.in,” reads the notification.

Notably, the NTA is holding the UGC NET December 2021 and June 2022 (Merged Cycles)-Phase IV for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor vacancies. The UGC NET exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

After downloading the UGC NET Admit card, the candidates should remember to carry their admit card to the exam centre otherwise, nobody will be allowed to enter the exam hall without first showing the hall tickets.
